You can take "The Peacemaker," "Deep Impact," and "The Tuxedo." We'll take "Gladiator," "American Beauty" and anything else that didn't suck.

Emilio's 17

Yeah, like he needed all that overpriced crap anyway...

This lawsuit's going to make 'House Party' look like 'House Party Two!'

I told you... don't call me SENIOR!!

Maybe this is all a bad dream too?

Thanks Sharon, but I think I'll wait until this one comes out on DVD (so I can freeze frame of course)

There is absolutely, positively no nepotism in Hollywood. None.

You're good, baby, I'll give you that... but me? I'm magic.

This band will go down like a lead balloon

Well, Goodbye there Children...

They can't sell the Capitol Records building! What will be left to destroy in the next crappy 'end of the world' movie?

Same old Courtney - still sponging off Kurt

Panic on the streets of Austin

You're a fat, Botox faced, wig-wearing ninny! Oh yeah? Well your band has a dirty H addict as a lead singer!

POP CHART NEWS

October 29, 2002
By Roger Nead

I SEE THE CRYSTAL VISIONS:
And they tell me that FLEETWOOD MAC have their first charting album in more than five years. "The Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac," debuts this week at #12, beating the peak of their previous greatest hits package, which reached #14 in 1989. Mac's last charting album was 1997's "The Dance," which danced its way to #1, in September of that year. Coincidentally, the DIXIE CHICKS crack the Top 40 this week, with a cover of Mac's classic "Landslide." It's the first time the STEVIE NICKS penned tuned has reached the Top portion of the Hot 100.

SPEAKING OF VISIONS, ANYONE WANNA BET ON NEXT WEEK'S #1 SINGLE?:
Two songs from upcoming movies are the front runners to replace NELLY & KELLY ROWLAND at the #1 spot next week. EMINEM'S "Lose Yourself," from his film debut "8 Mile" is gaining airplay points like fuc***' crazy this week, but he faces a fierce challenge from MADONNA'S Bond theme "Die Another Day," which is burning up the sales chart. "Die" needs to sell about 62,000 copies to reach the top, and honestly, with all the money MADONNA has, she could easily buy 62,000 copies of the single herself. Another song gaining chart points is the latest from SANTANA, "The Game Of Love" which features MICHELLE BRANCH. Carlos Santana's last two singles, "Maria Maria," which featured The Product G&B, and "Smooth" which featured MATCHBOX TWENTY'S Rob Thomas, spent a total of 22 weeks at #1. Whether SANTANA can top the Hot 100 is probably moot, since his new album "Shaman" is a good bet to top the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. And that means more money anyway!

ROCK & ROLL TRIVIA QUESTIONS:
Test your rock IQ and answer my questions!

LAST WEEK'S ANSWER:
"What is the only album to spend more than a year at #1 on the Billboard chart?" Was it THE BEATLES? ELTON JOHN? MICHAEL JACKSON? No! This dubious distinction belongs to the original motion picture soundtrack to 1961's Academy Award winning best picture, WEST SIDE STORY. This album logged an impressive 54 weeks at #1.

THIS WEEK'S QUESTION:
"This classic 80's rock ballad debuted on the Hot 100 in May of 1983, and reached the #1 position 298 weeks later." What is it?

WHEN THE HELL AM I?: Help! My time machine got stuck somewhere in the past. Figure out what songs I'm hearing, and tell me what year I'm stuck in!

Answers: I was stuck in 1983, but thanks to your help, I escaped before I had to rip my jeans, and feather my hair!

"She's been with the Rolling Stones/On Their Tours, and in their homes." Whirly Girl by OXO

"And while they're busy reaching conclusions/We'll be reaching for something else." On The Loose by SAGA

"You put a hand on my cheek, and then you turn away/If you don't feel complete, if I don't take you all the way, then go." You Got Lucky by TOM PETTY & THE HEARTBREAKERS

"I'd be your lover, if you were there/Put your hurt on me, if you dare." Photograph by DEF LEPPARD

"You can step outside your little world, you can talk to a pretty girl/She's everything you dream about, but don't fall in love." She's A Beauty by THE TUBES

"Well the night weighs heavy on his guilty mind/This far from the borderline." Twilight Zone by GOLDEN EARRING

"My sisters married, and she lives on an estate/Her daughters go out, now it's her turn to wait." Come Dancing by THE KINKS

"They're rappin' here, they're rappin' there/But she's climbing on the wall." Der Kommissar by AFTER THE FIRE

"This could be the best place yet/But you must overcome your fears." Time (Clock Of The Heart) by CULTURE CLUB

"She told my baby we'd danced till three/Then she looked at me." Billie Jean by MICHAEL JACKSON
