is it just me or is 007 movies getting old. The last one sucked and pierce brosnan said tomoro never dies was his last movie well 2 movies later and he's making another one. Q is dead thats another reason it should stop. I also heard money penny is leaving but i dont know if that is true, but i think they alredy had a couple of mony pennys just like bond. To me sean connery is the best bond

I thought Tomorrow Never Dies was pretty good, but that's just one yutz's opinion. Personally, I think Bond is a great franchise, and I hope they keep making 007 movies for a long time.
I also think that Connery was the best Bond, although I have liked Brosnan a lot, as well. |

The last Bond movie did suck, yes Conery is the best Bond but for some reason i want more to be made i dont particulary like Brosman (infact i damn right cant stand as anyone else except Bond), personaly i go to see them because i want to see waht car he has.
Oh is there any news on Brosmans successor. |

I watched Tomorrow Never Dies again the other day and actually liked it quite a bit more than the first time I saw it. It goes back to a lot of the old stuff that made Bond movies great. It wasn't until the last 30 minutes or so that it sank to the standard of a crappy over-the-top action movie.

When I went to see "Die Another Day", for the first 20 minutes or so, I was blown away- I thought "this is really cool, they've updated it a liitle, more gritty, more texture" and then it turned into another over-the-top action flick. I'd read most of the original Bond books growing up and always felt the movies were too slick. Not that I don't like 'em for what they are, I just daydream about what they could be.

Hey the Bond movies are the only way that Studio makes money. When its a Non-Bond year they barely make ends meat.
My theory is that there was a Bond in WW2 and using super Nazi theorys and tech. they were able to reproudce his memorys (But only once). So if Bond was killed they would put his memorys in a homeless person (or someone else no one would miss) and then trian them in all the high tech spy ways. That would explain the diffrent actors, and the diffrent ages. |

Actually, I feel that the last Bond movie, Die Another Day, was probably one of the best ever made.
I had all of the classic Bond elements, including the gadgets, the car, even a signature villan. Honestly, how often do you see an Asian trying to be white with diamonds imbeded in his face? |

Just for the record I screwed up my post and meant 'Die Another Day' but said 'Tomorrow Never Dies' because I am a blithering moron. Die Another Day was a great, classic Bond movie for about the first half, then it descended into the ridiculous.

the trouble with bond films is that most expect over the top action. in the past theyve put bond everywhere from under water to in outer space.
they may be running out of plot devices. |

the only thing I liked was instead of the mini prologue where bond saves the day is the fact he get's captured as a POW for yay months. I thought that was original unlike the rest of the film.
