Velvet Revolver

Anyone heard these guys yet? It's basically GUNS-n-ROSES minus Axl plus Scott Weiland. Their song "Set Me Free" is on the HULK soundtrack. I kinda like.

Haven't heard the song, but I like that name. One of the better band names I've heard in awhile. Better then the name "Audioslave" anyway. Ugh.

Re: Velvet Revolver

Audioslave was orginally called The Civilian Project. Maybe they were competing for the most generic name.

Velvet Revolver is a cool name. It goes along with one of my favorite song titles, Velvet Divorce (Sneaker Pimps). Velvet Underground? Velvet Elvis? Everything sounds better with Velvet.

After that post, I think you need to change your name to Velvet Zens_7. It just sounds like you covered in velvet. And, everybody knows that things are better with velvet.

What a excellent idea! Velvet Zens 7s could be my alias on here. Then I could say snootchie bootchies for the first time. Oops, I just screwed that up.

I heard there stuff. Not that good. Sounded like a good idea. But then you go OH these are the parts of the other bands that suck.

Re: Velvet Revolver

The song is pretty good. Are the ex-GNR members going to stick with Weiland since he's back in rehab? Or go with some new guy? They definately have staying power if Weiland can stay sober.

Re: Velvet Revolver

The new Rolling Stone has a picture of Duff walking out of Weiland's arraignment with Weiland. So, I guess they are sticking with him.
