..I hate playing the parent here, mostly because I don't have time and also because I hate playing the parent here. I want these boards to be fun and loose, but there's no way I'll let them become sub-AICN Talkbacks. A lot of the recent posts you've seen from people do nothing but talk trash and add absolutely nothing to this place. The entry page to these boards is pretty clear about not just calling names and saying stupid [censored], but maybe the young'uns can't read or decide it doesn't matter. And sure, you can say anything you want here once, but after that, you're banned, so what's the point?

So if you're reading this and unable to reply to it, well, you've been banned. And if you're reading this and wondering what you can and can't say, I'd suggest reading recent posts by people like S_a_T_a_N and ActorGabe, a couple recently banned folk, and I think it'll be pretty clear.

I try to keep up with what goes on here but sometimes it's tough, so if anyone gets really out of line, please drop me a line and I'll flex my cyber-muscles. Otherwise, the rest of you are great and I'm happy you're here! That's why I don't want a few ICP fans to wreck this place for everyone.

I think that even though this post will probably piss you off because it is totally going away from what you were meaning to get across, let me start talking about the subject at hand.
S_A_T_A_N has really disturbed me with his dumb crap, and there really is no other word for it, it is pure crap. I feel sorry for his parents because he is probably one of those kids who doesn't understand they put them in this world and while they (his parents) can kill him in Texas [a little levity never hurts], but anywhere else they just have to deal with his crap. I think I have just gone another rant, damn all those Hunter S. Thompson novels.

Agreed. Granted, I met my current girlfriend of almost 3 years over the internet but that was at Match.com. The thing about people posting on boards for dates is that you know it must be working somewhere or else they wouldn't be doing it. I have an aquaintance (underlined) who is an internet manwhore. Apparently the swinger's club is everywhere.

Wow, this sucks. I haven't been to the boards in 4 days, thanks to a Canadian long weekend. I open them up this morning, and find over 250 unread posts. I proceed to read all of the posts on the first page, and find that I have absolutely nothing to add to anything. No witty replies, no insults, no insite, nothing at all.
