Ok, here is how the JEOPARDY GUESS THE QUOTE GAME works. I will give you the answer to a quote, and you have to figure out which quote it is. I will start.
For $100: The answer is National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
Remember to answer in the form of a question.

I am sorry to say that had the first two views on this thread. I only came back the second time to make sure I actually read what I read and to post this reply.
What were you thinking when you started this game? My answer is "the".
Yup, I am right, that is a quote from that movie, because the word "the" was said a lot in it. You owe me $100.

I'm sorry, that is not the quote the judges were looking for. I talked to them, I was pulling for you, I really was, but I could not convince them. Please keep trying. (ratm1966 is now -$100)

A $100 question should be really easy. The answer should be something like:
Clark Griswald in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation in regards to his boss.
Then with every level up you drop part of the answer until you get to $500 and you do a broader answer like just giving the title.

You know, that almost makes sense. Actually it makes alot of sense. I still prefere my game.

No, he means the Jeopardy variation.
I'll guess "Nice tree. Lot of sap."

That is absolutely amazing! I did not think anybody would get that!
Your turn DangerSeeker. Also, I'm thinking we should start playing this the way FanGirl suggested. I originally posted this because I thought the idea of quote game Jeopardy was ridiculous and impossible to play, but FanGirl has come up with a way it will work. Unless of course you like my version better, it's all up to you.
You control the future of Quote Game Jeopardy!

We can do it the FanGirl way.
Starting at $1000, I'm thinking of a quote from that quotable movie, "The Muppet Movie."

"Bear left." "Right frog."

"Turn at the fork in the road". I know that cannot be totally accurate, but I always think of it when I come to a real fork in the road.

Fan girl is probably the closest, and I almost used that, but it's a single line, not an exchange. $900.

Is it "I took a correspondence class"?

Nope.
