How is it possible that I beat By-tor to a Texas Ranger thread? Is it because we are the only two people on this board that are still paying attention to baseball right now? There must be some Phillies, Giants, Rangers and Yankees fans floating around this place.

Blake, to be honest I haven't been able to stay completely sober since Tuesday, but I
did cut myself off before yesterday's game ended. Not much celebrating going on yesterday. :(
Rodriguez seems like a prick. My brother said he was reading The New York Times earlier in the week and the biggest article was on how they're trying to get Lee.
God I hope we crush these overpaid slickster bozos.

Lee's been pretty modest about it, but the man can bring the heat. How can you help but root for these young Texas Rangers?

It's pretty sweet to have the old man (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXoF2ukYl8M) seated as our owner too. No big deal, home-style. I finally had a little nip after the wedding, today. There was no chance in hell I was not gonna toast my son's wedding. Even if I had to do it by myself after the ceremony. :o It was a beautiful wedding. And, Chelsey gave a speech "toast" that had everybody, including the caterers in tears. Very good day for the Old Man.

It looks like the game is on TBS at 7:00. The late start should keep me out of the taco/ beer joint this afternoon. For that I'm thankful.
