I thought it would be fun to start a thread about nastiness. What strange nastiness do you find weird or interesting?

Perhaps not that nasty, but I've always been fascinated by the over grown industrial sites and quarries that litter the area where I live.

That looks amazing. Someone should make a kids TV show about a group of teens who solve mysteries and whatever, and in one episode they discover an evil Satanic cult who are trying to bring about the apocalypse by, like, chanting and shit, and that place is their temple/evil headquarters. It would be the BOMB.
Fucking French got me started with mayo on fries.
I was only in their country for ten hours.
But I like it. Not that Miracle Whip shit, but Helman's Real Mayonnaise.
It's probably a contributing factor to the extra poundage.
But I don't care.
It's good.
I live in Asia,
My lunch would make you lose your lunch.

mayo on fries.
This is what we have where I live:
http://www.seagullfountain.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/some-dudes-fry-sauce-150x150.jpg
Mostly it's ketchup blended with mayo. I love the stuff.
That particular brand cracks me up because it sounds like a euphemism for semen.

I can totally see it, like that show where a bunch of kids were searching for the "Scarabaeus" with a ginger time traveling guy who could disguise himself. Does anyone remember the show I'm thinking of?

I'm guessing 80s. The group of kids were the main character's helpers of sorts and they travelled through time looking for this golden beetle brooch thingy. The main character's name might have been Duncan, and he would always pop up in whatever time the kids travelled to, disguised as one of the locals. In a later season he was replaced by a different character/actor who served the exact same purpose, plotwise. The bad guy might have been some kind of hot witch chick.
It was a British production.

It does indeed sound familiar. Could it have been some adaptation of the Poe short 'The Golden Bug' perhaps?
On a related note, does anyone on this side of the pond remember a kids show about two young brothers who travelled across the world looking for miniature statues of the Leaning Tower of Pisa with little question marks on the base?

Well, that's the big kahuna of abandoned industry where I live. They shot the opening of Transformers 2 there and countless low budget horror films have used the interiors and exteriors. Its a pretty historical place, so much so that the new Sands casino across the road is themed after it and lights the tall stacks up every night.
I worked on one indie movie that shot there, and had unlimited access to the place. I wish I took pictures, cause there's 20 foot high gears resting against five story tall furnaces next to 50 foot deep water filled basements that go lord knows where. Ladders going to abandoned outlooks 100 feet in the air, enormous indoor cranes that could probably collapse at any second. Just an amazing place.

It's for Lingerie party for a her boss. It has a picture of some nasty lingerie from the 1800s. I guess she's going for a saloon/whorehouse theme.
Chris,
No, I am really wanting it to look as close to the one I sent as possible. The fonts and everything. I want the top half on the front big and spread out and all the info on one side of the back... so I can put the addresses on the other side in the back. Does that help? Right now I think it's looking kind of cheesy and I am going for classic. I like the colors better but maybe just black, brown and deep red. No blue.

Sounds like something you could post to that Clients From Hell (http://clientsfromhell.net/) website. I do a bit of graphic design from time to time, so I can relate. I've been redesigning this one post card for 5 months now. But I'm paid for every new iteration, so I don't complain too much. But every revision just makes it look worse. That's what you get when you design by committee.

They can get up to 4 feet long. The one I saw was about 2 feet. They come here to spawn in the freshwater streams, like salmon.
Also, they eat by latching on to the side of a fish and sucking it's blood, like so:

I was so afraid to click on that! lol. Oh craigslist. I've never used it in my

Well, you can see these! I saw one of these guys at the Zoo yesterday and they are super cool - It's called an Axolotl or Ambystoma mexicanum and it's basically a salamander from this lake in Mexico. So cool looking though! My friend thought it was gross, but she does not share my love of aquatic animals.

It's the wolf rug on the wall behind him that really sells that picture. :D

The oddly placed dragon tattoo on his thigh was what got me....that and the way he's ever so gingerly cupping his junk.

Saw this below and instantly thought of this thread.
Trust the internet to combine two of my most hated things; hairless cats and dodgy mushrooms :(
Whats next? Kesha and herpes? ...oh wait.
