I showed this article to a friend yesterday and I think we casually agreed to be there next year. To drink a Caucasian and bowl a frame with the real Duder...? Come on!

Ya, I love the movie too. I could watch it over and over, I just like making fun of my dad. I think it was the first DVD he bought, and he asked me almost everyday for about a month if I wanted to watch it.

See, that's awesome. I look forward to someday being able to watch The Dude's antics with a son of my own. Neither of my parents would sit through the f-bomb assault in that movie. I played it during a party at a friend's cabin and by the time it got to the money-drop scene, his parents actually asked "What in the HELL is this movie?"
For me, it's one of the rare movies that I could watch any day, in any mood, days in a row. I even saw it in the theater twice. I have a couple friends that can just about run through all the dialogue in it. It's crazy.

The article said that the movie was not well recieved. By who? Like Office Space, everybody I have ever talked to loves Lebowski.

That's true, I have never heard anybody say they didn't like the movie. By "well recieved" I bet they mean "didn't make butt-loads of cash".
