View Full Version : PC/Laptop case mod ideas?
Just bought a new laptop to replace the old one (screen got kind of wonky) and I'm going to use the guts from the old one (motherboard, processor, HDD, and RAM) to build out a custom piece of computer. I haven't really got an idea (much of one, that is) of how I'm going to do it.
Anyone got some some suggestions? Whatever I do, it will also involve a spare 20" LCD monitor I have connected to the old PC down in the basement, wireless mouse and keyboard.
So, any ideas?

Considering its something I've never seen before, and you being you, any way to make a Motorcycle PC?

Never mind, its been done already. But if you've got the tools, definitely try to make something out of metal. Perhaps an indestructible diamond-plate PC?

Done before or not......that just screams "JK Style" computer.......if it had an ammo can on the side.

Or just make a case to look like an ammo can.
