QSE Murder Mystery 4: Night of the Living Poopshooters

Hello, I’m your former class president, sports hero, and valedictorian, Sweet Adeline cordially inviting you to your 10 year reunion of the Poop Shoot high on Wednesday June 24th.

We may not have all gotten along during our first stay, but I’m sure we can all play nice during this one night. Catch up with all your old friends, and maybe make some new ones! We have free range of the school, with the gym being the center of the action. I hope everyone can make it, what with all the ludicrous news stories popping up on all the TV stations.

It begins!

Excitement was in the air as everyone received their nametag and filed into the lavishly decorated gym. The stench of its usual sweaty occupants still lingered in the air despite someone’s best attempts to cover it up; they had only managed to make it an awful mix of sickeningly sweet smelling flowers and BO. The beginning of the night was completely uneventful; some had worked up the courage to dance to the generic techno blaring through the speakers but many sat on the outside edges of the dance floor. Many talked of the news reports that had begun cropping up.

People naively dismissed it as a hoax, but the amateur footage of body bags wriggling in a police station just outside of Philadelphia wasn’t a hoax. The attendees of Poop Shoot High’s ’99 class reunion didn’t know that, no one outside of the CDCP knew. The government didn’t want mass panic; they thought they could control the outbreak… Boy, were they wrong…

back to our story…

Almost everyone fell victim to the liquid confidence of liqueur and began dancing. Sweet Adeline prowled the dance floor greeting everyone. Almost everyone stayed within their old clique. Eventually Sweet Adeline went from table to table telling everyone who remained in their seats to get out on the dance floor for some kind of Macarena tournament. When she got almost everyone on their feet she went to the front of the group and played the music. They weren’t even a minute into the dance when all of a sudden Sweet Adeline faltered. She fell to the floor and landed in a crumpled heap. Everyone stopped and the music was silenced. There was no reviving her, and by the look of her she was poisoned!

Some in the group got out their cell phones and dialed 911. “All our operators are currently busy” was the only thing anyone managed to get. Some left the gym and found an unlocked classroom with a television; they turned it on and got static on every station except for one which displayed a generic *please stand by technical difficulties* screen. No one thought much of it; they just chalked it up to the school not having cable over the summer. Everyone met back in the gym. Eventually it was decided one person would go to the police station to report the crime while everyone else waited inside the school. Many volunteered, but in the end Aaron was the one selected to go. Everyone filed out of the gym and congregated at the front door. Aaron bravely walked through the door, and began the trek to the parking lot. The people inside filed back into the gym and began to wonder who had motive to kill Sweet Adeline. She was likable enough right?

All of this was interrupted when Beckpoppins got a phone call. “Hello? Aaron? What’s wrong? What’s going on? AARON? ARE YOU THERE? WHAT’S GOING ON?” The phone went dead. Everyone stared at her and pleaded for answers. The only thing she could manage was “zombies… hundreds..” and then she fainted. Everyone mobilized immediately; locking the doors just as they could see the approaching zombie hoard led by a zombified Aaron. “What do we do now?” one asked. “We search for the killer ourselves I suppose” another answered “We try to wait it out. Help has got to come at some point right?” “God I hope so… God I hope so…”

You’re mission is to find the killer(s) in your midst by voting for those you think are guilty. Votes are due at 7PM EST, 12AM GMT every weekday. You’ve all been given a role or you have been designated as nothing more than an innocent party to this horrific crime, good luck to each of you.

There will be three weapons if we use one of them to destroy SA poor lifeless body. Should we keep them? If we lock them away then who will keep the key? Better to have them right out in the open where we can all keep an eye on them. Plus they will be more useful if the zombies get in then a key would. Maybe put something on the handles so that anyone who touches them will have it all over there hands.

I know this game is all about discussion and such, but *just* as an observation; when someone steps up for a weapon, then plucks another 'random' guest to hold the other, I'm suspicious. If both weapons are held by killers, and they use different means to kill again, no one is none the wiser in discovering their identities.

Hi everybody.

1 thing that would help me is if we could get a list of everyone that checked in tonight. That way we know noone is lurking in a corner.

Also- I think we should store the body in a locker, in case it reannimates. A locker (as some are sure to know) is nearly impossible to get out of when you are a lithe teenager, much less a dead adult.

I'd just hate for the government to show up with a cure for dead zombies in a few minutes, and have all of us standing aorund with sweet_Adeline's brains all over our shoes.

I'd feel much safer in a medium size group rather then everyone in the gym, but with the ZOmbie hoarde, i think we would be better off together as a single group.

I'm checking in. Lets just say I was in work serving customers via my iPhone. The idea to go into groups works for me. But then again, if we all want to stick together in the gym, I'm game. We're not safe inside or out. The roof could be an option but as we all know, there's only one way to escape. :eek:

I just don't think we should be in small groups. Possible multiple killers means there could be more than one person taken off, god only knows what is ahead of us. If there's groups. They need to be large so we can watch each others back and still have the numbers to take care of the situation.

My concern was that the hammer would likely have possiblezombie gray matter all over it, and baring any antiseptic outside of the Everclear, I'd be worried about toting it around or leaving it in the same room as everyone else. We don't need a typhoid hammer.

1) Are there any sort of rubber gloves available?

2) If so I volunteer to smash her skull in with one of the hammers. It should be done in another room, and while doing it I will wrap my shirt around my mouth and nose.

3) If there is any remaining Everclear, I ask that I be able to pour it on my hands and feet afterward to sterilize any leavings from the corpse

4) I think we should leave said hammer in the room with the corpse, because it is now contaminated. (working under the assumption she may be undead)

5) We should distribute the other two weapons (hammer and saw). I've got no problem taking one of them, I suggest Bytor get the other. And we all stay together, so unless there were two killers, at least one innocent person has a weapon.

If the saw isn't capable of that, then it'll be useless against a zombie who's actually trying to eat your brains. It could still fuck up a jugular even if it can't sever a head. I would use it as a blunt tool to SA's head at the very lest, just keep it out of the murderers hands. It may have no use against Zombies, but it would still have a use against someone whose brain doesn't have to be destroyed.

Maybe we should go out (In 3s or as a collective) to scour the school for anything else that can be remotely considered a weapon. It would help arm us against the zombies AND take away anything else the murderisers could get their grubby little hands on.

We kill Sweet Adeline, which takes care of a future accident. I think we get all desks and put them against all windows and doorways on the first floor. We go to the second floor and put more chairs and etc. on the stair way. We choose the classroom closest to the ladder that can take us to the roof of the school. WE all stay in one classroom. The smaller the room the less likely the killers get to creep around 'silently' and also if there's only 5 of them and there's an estimate 18 of us we should be perfectly fine.

I think this could be a pretty good idea. Groups of 4, or so. Each group with a weapon. I hate the thought of splitting up, but we've got to make sure we are somewhat safe from the zombie horde. We can find the killer(s) soon enough, but if Aaron and company get in we are toasted shit. Ideas?

Look, if we're barricading anything, it should be the gym from the inside. The gym is a wide open space, with food and drink (I'm assuming a reunion should have some kind of buffet). No-one can do anything in private in a wide open space like this. Someone could've easily stored some form of weapon upstairs, plus there's a plethora of corridors and classrooms people could disappear in.

Stay in the Gym and everyone can see what everything does. It's that simple. You go upstairs, you don't decrease your risk of zombie attack, but it would give a killer more oppurtunity to attack.

I agree with Antonio, two groups is certainly safer. Divide by whoever posts in time?Two groups would have 2 weapons each. Somewhat safer I'd say. But, we're kinda making some decisions without some of the other's input. :confused:
