Four score(well, really just four years) and a few hours ago, I stumbled upon the Movie Poop Shoot site. Truthfully, I lurked for at least a month before joining. When I did, the response was somewhat cold-shouldered and not near as cordial as most of our "welcomes" brought about by the joining of AB and a few other "greeters". I was thought to be another re-incarnation of a doosh that went by "Darth Jaundi" and "Hellabah" to name a few. But, after enduring the trial-by-fire, I settled into what has become, in a sense, the coolest four years of my life. I wouldn't trade the real, and cyber friendships I've made here for the world. I've met some of you in person, and come DragonCon(Jebus, Atlanta is doomed) will party with alot more of you. There's been good times and bad times here. Almost, lost the place at one time, even. We've lost some great posters in the last four years, but gained a good number of great posters in return. I'm not going thru the names, but a few of you know how special you are to me. Thank you all for being who you are , and for what each of you bring to this very special place in my life. So, after 4 years, and 9000 posts, I want to say, yet again.....

I’m glad you still post here. Maybe it appeals to some kind of nostalgic sensibility of mine, but when I see posts from people that were here “back in the day” it gives the place a homey feel. Ya feel me, homey? And that’s not a slight to the newer members; they kick arse, too. This place is like a cool magnet. And we, all of us, are steel.

Congrats 9000 I have never reached that on any board and I have been one particular board for over ten years, it did get re-vamped at one point and my post count was wiped clean but still very impressive.

Most of you don't know this, but at one point, Jenni and I were having some problems (this was quite awhile ago...pre-Misinformation Mixer mahem) and I had a hard time knowing where to go for advice. By-Tor took some time, leveled my head and helped me through a very difficult time. At that point, I realized I that I had made a friend for life in this man. Thank you By-Tor. Thank you for making this place a part of your life and thank you for allowing me to be part of your life my friend. Looking forward to spending a week with you come September...Gan help Atlanta, Gan help our livers, and Gan help us.
