I will say this, the carpet was a bright blood red and really thick shag. It was a night I will always remember. Whatever you do, don't take a really hot shower when you're peaking because the heat relaxes your muscles to a point to where you feel like a warm pudding and you lose almost all motor skills. My roomates kept coming to the door and asking me if I was ok, but all I could do was laugh and say I think so.

this is a fun one.
The best thing to do is set the sliders in the middle.
You have to set them so that when you press the Play button the box makes a different tone for each slider? then press the eject/open button.
So move them one at a time till you have it.

If your combination is 4R34L etc, then start from 0 and spin it right (clockwise) till the pointer is at 4, then left until the pointer is at 34, and so on. You dont have to go back to 0 each time.

It's strange, personally I found the dice puzzle quite simple. The chessboard one, though...

The annoying thing with that was that I did all the hard work with the UV light and correctly worked out the co-ordinates of the buttons I needed to push, but I was working under the assumption that the numbers ran down the grid. I.e. I thought the top row was number 1. My moniter is too small to see that the numbers were right there on the screen. I thought that the order you press the buttons must matter, so I spent flippin' ages going through every possible order of button pushing. Gah.

Move all the sliders up as far as they can go. Now press the play button and listen to the tone. Do you have low and high tones? If the first tone is low, move the first slider down one, hit play and see if the first tone has changed. If it hasn't, go down another one, play, repeat, until you have the first tone captured. Then move onto the second slider. Move it down one, play, repeat. It's trial and error.

Once all the tones are the same, it should open up.

You can tell it's correct by the change in tone. I can't recall if they're are 5 or six sliders, so you'll hear, say, 5 beeps. Those beeps will either be a low tone or higher one. You just have to make all the beeps hit the higher tone.
