I still think the guy deserved an oscar nod for his work in Bill Part 2. He certainly went out on top.

The initial BBC report said it was tied around his genitals as well, they changed it to 'other body parts.' I really hope it was some weird stuff gone wrong rather than suicide, the latter would be much more depressing.

This sucks. :(

I wonder why they feel the need to report EVERY aspect of someone's death. The man was in his 70's. Regardless of the method of his death, can't they just let him pass with some dignity?

Yeah it's pretty awful. I remember when Dale Earnhardt died there was a newspaper here trying to publish the photos of his mangled corpse, luckily they got sued into submission. Going over the top with the intimacy of stuff like this is one of the reasons I'm not the least bit sad the American newspaper industry is collapsing like a flan in a cupboard.

Bummer. RIP Bill. :( Yeah, I read the part about "other body parts" and the first thing that came to mind was Michael Hutchence.

Picked up the original Death Race 2000 dvd a couple of weeks ago, never seen it before and I've been looking for a good time to watch it, now seems an appropriate time to.

My day today's just been f***ed beyond belief. First this, then a little girl is found encased in cement. She was 5 years old and was missing for two weeks, and some sick bastard decides to kidnap her and encase her in cement, alive.

Jen was telling me she saw or heard some report that said he had gotten into it with a hooker, hooker killed him (either by accident or otherwise), and then the hotel made it look like suicide.

It's way too early to tell.

Survey says! "Ding! Ding! Ding!" You are correct.

I'm hearing way too much information about what happened to Carridine. Yes, he was roped up. rope around the junk and his neck, in the closet tied to the hanging rail. Plus, I know the hotel he was in. A second rate swissotel close to Nana plaza. one of bangkok's many naughty niches. we nicknamed it the "sex mall".

http://z.hubpages.com/u/822890_f520.jpg

There is no way he wasn't in his room with a circus of depravity that bangkok delivers at bargain prices.
http://www.caingram.info/Thailand/Bangkok/Bangkok_pat_pong_3.jpg

I know, it's probably upsetting for a lot of people to see him go out a 180 degrees opposite to his persona. To me this is just humanity at its finest. I never ever put another person on a pedestal unless I want to look up their skirt.

In some weird way I respect Carridine even more now. he managed to get all the way this far hiding his demons from the tabliod hungry world. I mean, no way in hell people in hollywood knew this was 'his thang.' In some bizarre sick way this feels like his last act of defiance. "hey, i wasn't that guy; I was this guy......surprise! Yeah! Yeah! Slap Happy! Somebody choke me!"

I mean come on........it is damn funny.

Saturday, a friend of mine was off to Bangkok on business. We handed him a rope and said things like: "Don't get Carridined-away!" "Remember to order room service and ask for the "Kung Fu Special!""

We fully expect some kinky sex street in Bangkok to be renamed: Carridine Alley.

I can't say there aren't more embarrassing ways to go but for a man in his 70's and to still be up to those kinds of naughty shenanigans does kinda' impress me.
Maybe there's something to this Tai Chi stuff after all.
