I was thinking about the movie "DOGMA" and was wondering what could possibly be the sin of the head executive in the "Mooby Massacre" scene. Replies?

I like the fact they never say anything. If they had revealed it to the audience, it wouldn't have seemed that horrible.
Much like the ending of Rosemary's Baby, where we never get to actually see the baby. The device here is to let the individual conjur up their own idea of what the son of Satan would look like, or the only thing that can scare me is me.
If Loki reveals the worst sin, while it may be terrible to Smith and others, there are stil some persons that would think, "That's all?" It allows every person to draw their own conclusions as to what the worst sin would be. Just like in religion there is no deffinitive answer.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Loki(Matt Damon) say to the Exec something to the effect of "He's your own son!" So, I always assumed it was rape&incest or something of that nature.

After Ben whispered his sin in the exec's ear, Matt replied, "And he's your son, you sick f*ck." I always assumed that his sin was child molestation or something similar.

That is what I thought too. Afterall, what else can you assume he meant after a comment like that?
Yup, same here. He was sexually abusing his child. Ick. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

Yeah, I like too that the mysterie here. But I'm not sure about a Child molestation. Maybe we should ask which of the 7 capital sins have been comited, and which have not. There is Luxur (the little boys amator), Envy (the mother' carpet thief), Sloth (laziness ?) for the one who chose cheaper materials for the puppets... What's left ?
I was thinking along the lines of the seven deadly sins/ ten commandments type of deal.
Maybe Loki was referring to a commandment that was on a tablet that Moses cast down and broke. Leaving only ten... Hmmm... I wonder what those other ones were? /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
Go ahead everyone! Speculate! What was on the other tablet?
Maybe one was: "Thou shalt not drink beer before liquor, or thou shalt be ever sicker"

I always assumed that he molested his son, because Damon sys afterwards ...I think..."Jesus he's your own son" or something like that.
In reply to:
