Wash your mouth out with soap young man!

I'd like to think the females who post here are a tad more lady-like and above that language. (Except Bebop - she is foooooul mouthed :p)

Hope you don't have much of a headache this morning, Beckpoppins.

What are things like in Ohio? Is it true that it's round on the end and high in the middle?

oh well, down to business

freetoaster, yes, i have worked for the devil, sam walton. his chipper ghost still haunts me. I was a cashier and i got held up at gun point....

i did not shit my pants or have a heart attack so... fun job

Aaron, no , its all inside like a good belly button, my only feature that is not normal is my creepy anemic skin.

donkey, i will talk to you all sober, drunk, hopped up on coffee, drunk just provides more wacky. thank you.

JK&ZBarclay did my post come of trampy? sorry.

puggso_32... do what? jump up and down? eat toast? what?

Jason Shiffy... no no no.... you can not call me becky (my name is beck) but in fact for being gross, you can call me miss poppins.

Antonio_Bay, thank you dear, no headache but i did bumble about and get yogurt on my keyboard. boo that.

wanderingquesadila - devo was right, we are in fact round and high. ohio is fantastic , i live in Cleveland which is filled with fun and museums and crazy. i think it was Craig Ferguson who recently said Cleveland is one of those cities that you can sit on the sidewalk , read, drink, and cry and no one will bother you.

i'ts true. my kinda town.

JK - true, so is Neil Armstrong, Nancy Cartwright and Dave Chappelle.

Hello Beckpoppins!

I recently attended a music festival and happened upon a vendor who advertised “ice cold” water for sale. My question is this: If the water was truly ice cold, wouldn’t it freeze and actually become ice, rendering it undrinkable?

Oh, and welcome to the site!

beckpoppins
06-02-2009, 11:23 PM
the vendor was trying to trick you into buying one of the following:

vodka so he could get you drunk and sleep with you

thin pee, because that's easy to get and maybe that's how he gets his rocks off

ocean water, because he is a tricky pirate

or

magic water that gives you the power to fly.

joep144

I once drank Fire Water and thought I could fly........but I don't think that was magic though.

NOW............................CLEVELAND!

I have a buddy from Cleveland out here in Asia. He just moved to Singapore. He does much in the way of credit to your fine city. Drinks enough to keep up with me (plus he's 6'6" He defends the king of beers (budweiser) as if the American flag was drapped on it. Which I find noble and has said I should ask if you have ever been to "University Inn" or "Der Braumeister"? And if yes, what do you order?

Additionally, my brother went to an awesome tech school in Cleveland. It's off of E 51st and St. Clair. Can you name the school?

And finally, just from me; have you always lived in Cleveland/Ohio? Have you lived anywhere else?

beckpoppins

all Clevelanders are drinkers , heavy heavy drinkers. I am not as big a beer drinker but great lakes brewery's black-out stoat rocks my socks. i am big on blavod vodka and cranberry juice right now....

I have been too "University Inn" and they make a damn fine crab cake. My favorite bar is "Melt" (it makes nothing but fried super-tasty from scratch treats and the good vodka is cheap). It also carries my other favorite beer, rouge dead guy ale and i get the deep fried peanut butter and banana sandwich.

hmmm, i am trying to think of the school.... ohio is filled with schools, ohio technical?

I was born and raised here in Cleveland... my dad is a science guy for our giant art museum and our near by amusement park , cedar point .

i had a favorite aunt that use to baby sit me when I was a kid. she was the only one that made me fried peanut butter and bananna sandwiches. They are magical.

And you are a fan of cape codders (vodka cran).

Best.....Clevelander.....Ever!

My brother went to Ohio Diesel Tech. great school.

Have you ever gotten to the top of the dragster and then suddenly it fell backwards? *It freaked me out because I saw this in person in those bleachers.*

beckpoppins

no, but i can tell you 99% that that ride is safe. Having a dad in the non-destructive testing biz has taught me roller coasters good, drop rides very very bad.

I've never really spent any real amount of time in Cleveland, I've never actually been to Cleveland proper. So answer me this question one: Does Cleveland, in actual fact, rock (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmSW-OM8h8c)?

I'm currently at work in Marietta, OH and I live just accross the river in Parkersburg, WV, Cleveland is only about 3 or 4 hours away. I've been up there a ton of times for concerts and the like. Last time I was up there was April 21st at Peabody's for a metal show with my friend Karla.

it does... it really does. Cleveland is a crazy upside down universe. i love it.

true... but we also have a sweet beach, the metro parks, and a swinging zoo. we made our peace with nature.

you poor baby.... anything 3 hours away from Cleveland scares me because it can get a little "deliverance"... also peabody's scares me... i have many horror stories from that place.
my favorite being the Halloween a drunken stage diving zombie accidentally ripped ever button of my elle driver costume. Thankfully i was wearing more undes than a 1950's house wife so i ditched the wig and became janet weiss. my friend dressed as a firefighter got so hammer he lost most of his costume and i had to take him home in his hat, red suspenders, and yellow boxers.

i am more of a grog shop girl, if you get to chance to see a show there go... it's a building of magic.
