I just got here! It has been a long day and I have gotten absolutely nothing done.
I think I am going to throw Ferris Bueller in the VCR now. Great idea!!

I've noticed a lot of members on lately, but very little posting going on. A lot less than usual.

Posting is for losers.
I've been watching Ricky Hatton being destroyed by Manny Paquiao. £15 well spent.

I thought this thread was a commentary on the fact that Broderick is expecting twins...which would be a Bueller Bueller. :D

After Lebowski, it's my favourite movie. I've probably seen it over 200 hundred times.
I watched it every day for at least 2 months when I was 10.

I figured either you or Rob would pull me up on this. I wrote it to tease, not hurt. :p

Will do. Or you could [legally acquire] it.
Don't bother Antonio, it was a horrible movie. Ugh. like the Breakfast Club. Lame, lame, lame.
;)
Ha! Ha! Ha! got you Phitzy!
Now, if Antonio says he hasn't seen the Big Lebowski.....then, then, the shame corner is going to be full of tears!

To his defense, Firestone is fairly young (how old are you now? 19?). He's probably never seen Casablanca either.

20 now. I haven't seen Casablanca but I have see a few really good old movies. I've seen a lot of Carry Grant stuff. I'm sure my uncle has Casablanca so I will have to look that one up.

It would be very nice...but I was saying that in response to dtcb using youth as an excuse. Sorry that I didn't quote sir.
And I can get my own cookies...thank you very much.

That film is overrated. Whenever I think of that film all I see is Peter Lorre saying, Rick, hide me! Do something! You must help me!

It was good but I think my expectations were too high because everyone around here had built it up a bit too much had I seen it without any expectations I probably would have liked it better. I loved John Goodman's character though. He just sells the whole I'm crazy enough to shoot someone over a principle attitude.

I've said it before, however, the true brilliance of this flick cannot be found on first viewing. It takes a few times to really get what is going on. New layers open up. Wait a little while and give it a go again. Now that you know what to expect, just let the little things settle into your cranium.

I was going to say exactly what Daffy just did. So yeah...what he said.
It wasn't my favourite film after the first viewing.

Yeah, we seem to be simpatico with Lebowski and Empire. If one of us doesn't say it, the other will.

I have seen parts of the Big Lebowski but never from beginning to end. I do love how he is always drinking a White Russian. I shall remedy this soon.
Also, I have never even heard of Venture Bros until about a month ago or so. (Takes cover in trench.) Hell, I thought JK's avatar was something he photo shopped himself.

Yes, he is the model for Brock Sampson. He works for Cartoon Network, and Doc and Jackson saw him and knew they had their man.
