Yeah - because everytime I am over, you have a lame excuse about why there is no beer. Remember the whole "my ficus plant ate it"? Or "DangerSeeker gave it to the strippers next door in exchange for a fruit roll-up."
DangerSeeker
07-22-2003, 12:06 PM
In my defense, they were strippers, and that wasn't a fruit roll-up. That's why I suggested nobody eat it without a shot of 151 afterwards. That'll kill anything.

Surge was crack-like for me for quite some time. I was working in a theater with the stuff, and I'd turn down the water & CO2 and turn up the syrup between shifts. I was very efficient those days.

You people are ruining good ol' jack Daniels with that [censored], Jack and Water or just over ice. If you gots to mix bourbon use Evan Williams or Beam.

I understand that they taste differently, but they're basically the same thing, as far as content, chemical composition, etc. How the [censored] can one be a syrup factory and the other not? I think you had a bad batch, my friend.

Now, I wouldn't call Pepsi a syrup factory, but it is sweeter than Coke.
Urban_Spaceman
07-31-2003, 11:03 PM
well, maybe I was going a bit too far with the "syrup factory" bit, but yeah -- Pepsi is just too damn sweet for me, while Coke has an even disposition pretty much.

I have always wondered why more drinks are not made with Pepsi. Maybe it has too much sweetness in it, and it makes the drinks go all goofy.

I'm sorry, but I don't mix those with Pepsi. Just doesn't have as good a flavor as with Coke. Of course, it is nowhere near as bad as mixing them with orange soda....blech!
