Resident Evil Movies

Remember "Resident Evil," the movie that was in theatres in March of 2002. It was a take-off of the popular game series and was a good zombie flick. Many claim that it should have followed the story plot that the original game had. I didn't give a sh*t that the movie didn't follow the game's plot. I liked the plot the movie had and it was a f*cking good movie. For those of you out there who haven't seen the movie, but have played the game. Forget all the sh*t about Chris Redfield and the Mansion and enjoy the movie for what it is and does. The only thing that is similar to the game in the movie is the Umbrella Company, the underground labs, T-Virus, and Raccoon City. So watch the movie and enjoy it goddammit!

I would have to say I enjoyed both the movie and the game. The game for it's endless hours of entertainment and the thrilling sequels. The movie was good because it held to the game in some aspects and I enjoyed Milla Jovovich. I haven't seen her in much since the Fifth Element. I will say thank you for the heads up on this sequel. It was much more informative than anything Dmoney has ever posted.

Rumour is that Nemesis will make his appearance in this fiflm but it probably wont be remotely threatening or anything. I didn't like the first film all that much not because it didn't follow the game. I just felt there was a lack of character in characters I know it dont matter much since the majority are hjust there to be part of the body count. but it woud still be nice to actually feel sorry for them when they die.And the licker was a bit of a sucky choice of endfilm finale considering they had so much more to play with.

Resident Evil 2 is expected to come out in 2004. I do agree with "septicsoul" about how hilarious the commentary was.

the director of resident evil, paul w.s anderson, is such a [censored] hack. he's never done anything besides video game movies with the exception of event horizon and soldier. anyway, the movie sucks, and paul anderson is gonna totally [censored] up aliens vs. predator when that cheap [censored] makes it. and there's a rumor he will make a 'Driver' movie.
