Evil Dead Remake?

What are the rumors about remaking the Evil Dead. It sounds like a awesome idea, but I'm curious on whats going on about it. /forums/images/icons/confused.gif

If they did another movie that would be fine (as long as it was the same people behind the movie and of course, Bruce in it. If they did a remake of it, I would hunt down anyone that was involved in the remake and KILL THEM SLOWLY!!!

The rumors are, you just tried to start one. Not a chance in hell of it happening. No way no how. If through some parallel universe mumbo jumbo it does happen, I promise to eat a computer, bit by bit, until it kills me or makes me a robot, or I finish. Point is, wont happen.

There are no rumours, it's never going to happen. There WAS internet rumours about a 4th film, but never has there been one for a remake, as Evil Dead 2 was practically a remake. Bruce Campbell himself says so on his official site www.bruce-campbell.com (http://www.bruce-campbell.com) . They are going to leave the Evil Dead series in the past, as the classic it is, and there will never be another Evil Dead movie...... ever. Why ruin a good thing?
