Bought that movie 2 days ago and watched it for the first time. I thought it was an awesome movie but sometimes i needed Dutch Subtitles to know what they were saying. Was it some place in England they have that kind of talking?

no, it was a style of talking i believe made up in the book... Sometimes it's ahrd to follow in english.
It's a dialect the author made up, called Nadsat, Cockney, Slavic, Russian derivatives.
By the way, welcome to the 'stop, Jason.

Has anyone heard the audiobook to this? Phil Daniels makes a much better Alex, in my opinion.

You would be forgiven for not understanding some of the dialogue. I found myself analysing previous sentences from time to time, even just to work out the jist of what was just said.
I belive one can purchase some of the furniture from that film. Mmm...booby.

I'd buy the penis chair/scuplture and use it to attack intruders.

He said giant.Just don't stand too close to me if we happen to go piss in the men's room at DragonCon at the same time. I don't think you'd look too good with an eyepatch...

Wow, I nver realized before, his eye-patch is a chin-strap. Riviting! Yeah, not really.
This is a great movie, although when I told my dad about it I got a surprise. Apparently he saw it around 20 times at the theatre when it came out until him and his friends memorized it. I’m guessing it was during his hash smoking phase.

A little late to the party, but I love this movie. This is my favorite Kubrick film. I think it has a great moral and presents it in a... different way. I never got around to reading the book though.

I have an exceptionally cool paperback copy of this. It was printed in 1972 and has "Stanley Kubrick's first motion picture since 2001: A Space Odyssey" written on the cover.

I'd seen the movie many time, but I never picked up on the Russian derivatives in the dialogue, even though I had taken 2 years of Russian language, until I read the book. Somehow seeing it printed and spelled out phonetically in English made it click for me...horrorshow...
