Darkhawk would make a great movie... maybe not, but if it did become a movie... my darkhawk comics might be worth a little more than a dollar...

I'd still like to see dark minds the film, Could start off refgarding simple muders and delve into something regarding ritualistic killings. And all in a neo megametropolis setting /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I would like to see a film adaptation of the short stories presented in Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children .

comic book movies all suck.

Again...wrong section..but...

I think V for Vendetta would be my pick. Watchmen would be cool, but as a 12 hour mini-series done by a joint partnership of HBO and BBC to ensure quality.

Also, Bendis' Torso, but if you have read "Fortune and Glory" by Bendis you'd know how that turned out.

They might still do the green lantern movie. It's just in production hell.

Is it the wrong section?

There is a comic article.

Too late I think David Hayter (demi-god) is working on the script to watchmen already.

This just doesn't seem to have anything to do with an article. It's just and "off topic" comic book movie thread. I could be wrong....

There has been a Watchmen script floating around since it was published. It will be in development hell until someone realizes it should be left as a comic.

You are not wrong...You are just intelligent. See, here lots of people can't read. Or they fancy themselves rebels. Or they want to make Chris cry. In any case...We've tried to correct this anti-social behavior and have flamed ourselves ragged (see the 2nd post of the deleted, yet strangely not deleted, post in this section) but if you have the stamina to try your hand at it, go for it! Me? I'm surrendering to the whole mess...

I don't know how many people know this, but there was an Itchy & Scratchy comic, and of course it was awesome. I'd like to see Matt Groening do a real movie. Of course it won't happen, and if it did, it'd probably be only 55% new footage..but I'd go see it anyway!

Yes! Itchy and scratchy would be an awesome movie. It would be violent as hell, because they aren't on "tele" (as the british call it).

By which you mean "telly" though I just say "the box" or "tv" too much watching overseas stuff makes me forget my verbal roots. Im not sure how a movie would sutain its longetivity even as a 80 min film. Maybe just make some short cartoons on the side though. We need some domesticated voilence since none of the classc cartoons arent on anymore.

"I'd like to see Matt Groening do a real movie."
Totally going off on a tangent here, but what else is new.... Groening probably wouldn't be half bad, but i wonder how much input he has into the simpsons, beyond creator, executive producer i don't think he actually directs or writes any episodes. What i would really like to see is Mike Judge take another swipe at live action film, Office Space is a classic.

I say they should make a sequel to "Spawn." Production has been delayed several times. Forget Green Lantern, why not bring back the General of Hell's army?

I think the comic book that could be a good movie is the HULK. Unfortunately, they have failed at it so far. Better luck next time.

Don't say [censored] like that or they'll make a sequel? Do you want to sit through another three hours of Nolte and that Shrek knock-off? Do you? /forums/images/icons/confused.gif

i totally agree... spawn was the [censored]!!!!! it was soo good, rarely talked about movie.. but when i was a little younger spawn was definately huge with me. i must have been one weird 11 year old to go around with my spawn action figures... but then my little bro learns from me so he was 9 carrying around his share of helllike toys

True, but the next time, I'll need two tickets: one for me, and one for brick shithouse [censored] holdin' a gun to my head!

Dude, we've created yet another Hulk thread! This [censored] movie will never die, will it!

Oh, after further review, I have determined I am the rat b@stard.

Yea, and soon it's gonna come out in the box set, four discs with JSBSB and THE HULK. So people will come here just to talk about the Hulk and Jay and Silent Bob.
