i dunno if anyone can help me with this..but im looking for a good program that wil encode avi files to mpeg files (to make vcds) that will split the file at a certain point. i had a good one but for some reason it's deciding to flake out on me =\

i use nero to burn them but nero wont split the files. so ive been trying to find a program that does. the one i had was working..then i realized it's flaky w/ the newest version of the divx codec..and its been having errors ever since i tried to do a file encoded w/ the latest version of divx

I have a program that someone sent me through mirc called Video Fixer but it was shareware but apparently you can edit merge and repair things. these features were mostly locked in the version I had and it runs out in 10 days. Just need to register I spose.
