Smith said the film - which is now slated for a February release - is a sharp departure from his other cult classics such as "Clerks," "Mallrats," "Chasing Amy" and "Dogma," but that the latest film is his favorite by far.

this gives me a little hope as to jersey girl...the article goes on to say that the movie is mainly dialouge driven. i dont know what to think of this...on one hand if its Smith's favorite so far...then its bound to be excellent....i mean, one of my very favorite aspects of his movies is the brilliant dialouge between the characters...but the phrase "sharp departure from" kinda scares me away from this movie...in that this movie will be the typical movie Lopez would star in...this would mean *looks around fretfully* Smith has...*gasp*...*wispers*sold out...god i hope not...thoughts?
