And don't forget about "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation", He is credited as the writer.

"Where going to have the hap-hap-happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap danced with Danny-[censored]-K!" - Clark W. Griswold Jr.

He wrote the first 3 Vacations, as well as NL's Class Reunion, and quite a few episodes of the short lived Delta House, the tv show they tried to make of Animal House.

Approaching Kevin Smith? Do you have any idea who Kev cites as a major influence? DO you know WHY they were going to Shermer in Dogma? That fictional Chicago suburb created by Mr. Hughes? Sure, Kev hasn't done "Baby's Day Out" yet, but pay some respect! Bow at the alter of Hughes!

Wanna read the original short for Vacation?

Here's the article. (http://www.nationallampoon.com/flashbacks/vacation58/vacation.html)
