I have Vista and for some reason it doesnt show the Defrag bar at all. It just says it will be done, whenever it's done

I'm building a new one so I'll have to format it sometime anyway since im going to keep that hard drive. I'm probably going to buy an external hard drive, too. I'm going to Vista so I can learn it, that way I'll have marketable skills in the IT Industry.
