GLOBAL WARMING WILL EFFECTIVELY, SPEEDILY, AND SINGLE HANDEDLY....

Reduce the amount of hurricanes? wtf?

We could release all sorts of studies for hundreds of years saying that global temperature will increase, decrease, increase, decrease, keep the same, decrease, or increase the amount of hurricanes which hit the U.S. Coast

or we could just save ourselves the hassle and just say that the global temperature has no bearing on how many hurricanes hit the united states.

Amen. I'm sure if Mother Nature were an incarnate, she'd be laughing her ass off at all our hand wringing. The weather is it what it is.

Yeah, I think I have a post in another thread from quite a while ago that addresses this. But I went with the viewpoint of pointing out how the Human Caused Global Warming Alarmists stated after Hurricane Katrina how global warming caused the increase in not only hurricanes, but also in their severity. Then we had fewer hurricanes the next year and less intensive one and then the same people came out and said this was because of global warming.

It is odd how so many people just can't seem to remember what someone tells them from year to year, especially when it is about a subject they appear to be interested in.

I heard another study that said that global warming was going to affect the rates of certain foodborn ilnesses in certain parts of the world. Essentially the idea is that as the climate zones shift you grow different kinds of food in different places etc.. etc.. etc..

The thing is, with climate it's the butterfly effect. If you look for a corellation between climate and whether the next Bruce Willis movie is going to be any good you'll probably find one.

That's tough. Some years are warm, some years are cold, but Bruce Willis is always...Badass.
