Ever been banned?

So I'm wondering, with our combined online experiences, has anyone ever been flamed or warned or downright banned from a forum before? Has anyone crossed the line.

So back when I was a 12 year old retard, I would get on yahoo chat and pick fights like a douche. I also went on the Warner Bros' Harry Potter forum and flamed a buch of people for role playing, and they banned the screen name I was using untill 2014. I used to be a douche and now I've grown out of that.

I got banned from the myspace metal forum for posting in the rules thread. Strange thing is now it's about 150 pages of nothing but "pfft".

Nope, never been banned. This and one other forum are the only two I've ever been a member of. I quit the other board several months ago because 80% of the members were a bunch of old hippies who never left the 60s. What a depressing bunch of people. :rolleyes:

I think I may have pushed it a couple of times here, got the "chill out, dude" response from the powers that be. That was back during Ryall's reign, I think.

I was once told by the bar tender at the old Cy's Roost in Ames, IA that, due to my actions the night prior, I would no longer have the privilege of ordering vodka in that establishment. Does that count?

I got banned from a PC overclocking forum(A) because I was active at another forum(B.) A and B didn't seem to get along so forum A decided to ban members which had dual memberships(mine and other people's theory.) Forum A which did the banning have yet to give me a real reason why I was banned, but they keep denying my dual membership theory. =/

Yes,
in order of importance:
1. From a Bar called "Bar George" after a retard friend of mine started a fight in the bar with his ex-girfriend's new boy-toy. I liked that bar. Couldn't show my face there for half a year. His ex stabbed him with a set of keys 1 month later. served him right.
2. From South Korea. For pissing off the wrong people. But, I came back in after 2 weeks with a higher visa status then when I was expulsed (plus a blank slate). Let's just say politicians don't like their dirty laundry exposed; and if they have dirty laundry, they play dirty. Had to tug a few strings to clean my credentials on coming back and keep myself from getting flagged on entry. Giant pain in the ass, that eventually reaped some benefits.
3. A forum for some guy named Tucker Max. I'm more embarassed I joined it than being kicked out. He's a typical asshole who's good at promoting himself. A buddy of mine was on the forum there and asked me to join. I did. It was the first forum I had ever joined and I was expulsed after my second post. Basically, all of his fans are the very people he openly mocks. But, apparently he's the only one allowed to do it. I was booted for pointing out this obviousness to one of his shoe shiners. Never went back and figured all forums were sad holes like that until I starting reviewing a few posts over here during searches for info.

If we're going to count bars, then yes. I have been banned. About three or four in and around Naples IT and a couple in Wisconsin. And one in Orlando. And a club in Beaumont. And a casino/dance hall/bar in Vinton, LA.

I have never been banned from a Woolworth, though... ;)

When I was thirteen I was banned (not sure for how long, the security guard just said 'don't come back') from my then local shopping centre because a kid from school I'd bumped into suddenly decided to throw his McDonalds flag toy from his meal over the third floor balcony and aim for some elderly gentleman.

While on holiday in Corfu back in 2000, my group of friends and I developed a mini tradition over the two weeks we were there, which was to get horribly drunk at dinner and then go Go-Karting before hitting the local clubs. I started off slowly, having only karted once before, but each night I would get better, my confidence levels building with each lap. By the tenth night in a row of doing this I had gotten pretty damn good (or so I thought). We had all had a few beers at dinner, and decided to do a few Ouzo shots after the meal. A few turned into 6, and we staggered to the track for another spot of night-racing.
From the start I floored it, determined to beat my personal best, caring not a jot for my safety or that of anyone else. On the third lap, at the hair pin turn, I nearly skidded out. As I hadn't taken my foot from the pedal, my car shot off as soon as the tires settled themselves and I drove straight into one of the floodlight posts dotted around the track, ripping it from the ground in a sea of sparks and sending it crashing inches away from my friend's kart.


So yeah....I was asked never to return to that magical place.:o

There was this one time, back in the mid to late 90s when I was just surfing the net for chat rooms, because I was getting pretty bored. Well, I found this Christian Chat Room and logged in. My first post was this...

"Religions are like sexual positions. It doesn't matter which one you choose, because they will all get you off."

I don't think it took them 30 seconds after that to kick me out. I wanted to go back in under another name, get as many IPs as I could, then "Nuke" them all, but they actually banned my IP and not the username I used.

I was actually banned from a pizza joint at age 10 or so after I went there with my soccer team to celebrate our season. Long story short, a juvenile prank unintentionally caused an extra sensitive customer to puke his guts out in the shop's bathroom sink, the sink got so clogged that the shop had to call a plumber.

As for online, I used to post at the now defunct Nintendo Next/Nation forums under the name SiegHeilSony. I always rode a fine line between pissing people off and being funny (probably why I've always enjoyed Razorback's schtick). I was banned, but eventually let back in when the mods realized that it was all in good fun and the place was pretty vanilla without a good argument. My new screenname? DarthMaul... and now you know the rest of the story.

I hear that. I joined that VA boards a while back and was terrified by the zealots that troll its postings. +10,000 trogs who regularly walk around stomping. You have to be a disabled Iraqi war veteran or Mother Theresa to be spared.

I had some lady who wears an Optimus Prime mask jackass all over me for posting a question. She went ballistic, then later apologized when she realized she hadn't taken her meds. I felt like Spock at a keg party.

I have minimal posting over at 'crazytown'.

Plus, you post in a thread and 2 seconds later its 100 pages long. there's no feeling for that.

I have never been banned from an online board since this is the only one I have ever belonged to.

I have been banned for life from a bar in the town where my parents country house was. I was engaged in my early twenties to a guy who decided to start sleeping with the bar owners 16 year old daughter two months before our wedding. Apparently my working a lot left him unable to wait for booty past 8pm. Her father not only knew about it but encouraged it.

After he got caught (by my mother of all people) and the whole population of the town knew about it I decided to go in with my friends and get a beer. I did get served but apparently I couldn't keep my mouth shut and said something within listening range that included the word "whore". He heard me and said "You can finish your beer and then come back when you are less upset."

I proceeded to take my full beer, turn it upside down, drain the whole thing onto the floor, and say "That's ok. I think I am finished with my beer." Then I took my friends with me.

That is why to this day there are only two bars in that town and I am banned from 50% of them.

Speaking of being banned, my buddy Joe (a teacher of all professions) just went ape shit in a bar last night called "la vida loca". we are banned from that bar now. I think the bouncers exact words were: "Stay the fuck out you crazy bastards!" It took 8 guys to drag us out. We were upset we hadn't finished our drinks when they asked us to leave because Joe told someone to fuck off.

I'm at home with a sprained ankle.
