... boredom will swallow your soul.

I've been sitting here at work for four hours.
I only had about... 40 minutes worth of work.

So I've played solitaire, watched the Venture Brothers episode for this week, updated my career development plan, and picked my nose.

That burned up an additional 30 minutes.

So now I'm pondering just what it is I'm supposed to be doing with my life...

...after I go get a Philly Cheesesteak.

Boredom will also get you fat.

I've been working the majority of the day. Building a portfolio for a hair & makeup artist. I have a love/hate relationship with Flash... mostly hate.

I'll be working for a few more hours. Its 11:35pm here. I'm going to stick on some cheesy horrors so I have something to listen to. I've just stuck in Bride of Re-Animator. I'm thinking Pet Sematary after, or maybe The Devils Rejects. May even plump for Braindead...need me some Zombie/lawnmower action.

I just finished watching a documentary on Val Lewton. Pretty neat.

And I had chicken strips and onion rings instead of a Philly...

Be happy you can get on here. The damn government blocked the quick stop site, so now I have to find other things to do when I'm bored at work.

Finally! Nine hours of watching the clock... over.

Just when I was getting into a groove on my book (that I've been writing for ten fuggin' years)

Hopefully, Jen bought more beer while she was out and about today. Alcohol and sex is a good way to kill boredom, too. :D

Yep, I'm officially bored right now. 00:53 am. I'm at that point where I'm not awake enough to watch a movie to relax before sleep, or energetic enough to go do anything. I could compose a letter I need to post but my cat is asleep on my desk chair and I'm one of those who never has the heart to move a pet.

I'm in limbo. May just sit here and lurk in the Whose Online page...

I know JK is bored, but who would want to post about their poo?

You really want to ask that on a forum formerly known as "poop shoot"? ;)

... boredom will swallow your soul.
I find it can motivate me though, I get so pissed off with having nothing to do that I try to find something significant to occupy my time with.
Unfortunately if that something to do can be done in my house I put it off a lot. So I make sure it involves other people or leaving the house.

I just mowed the lawn. Now I'm bored AND tired. And drunk. Beer goes well with fresh cut grass.

Is that some sort of temporal paradox?

I was fine with the idea of that...it just wasn't the hole I had expected that they used! :(
