I was thinking the other day about what compelled me to come to this site and to start posting in these forums. So, them's the questions.


How did you end up here? What compelled you to start posting?

Honestly, I don't remember. I know it had nothing to do with the fake site. Which I guess was technically the first version of the boards. I was a member of the other boards before they got obliterated. And then they were finally resurrected and here I am again.

I got here because I found out about Smodcast and saw that there was a message board. As to what compells me to post, I have no idea maybe its narcissism, maybe I just think everyone wants to know my opinion. But I'm glad I came here its a nice community where we only shun people for grammatical and punctiation mistakes and that only happens if its excessive.

I visited the site, like most people, out of curiosity after watching J&SBSB. The Shoot' had an amazing series of articles at the time I came aboard, some of my favs being The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Ryall's One Hand Clapping and his TV picks, Bowden's Kentucky Fried Wrasslin' which did the impossible and make me appreciate wresting even though I never really watch it, the equally impressive Comics 101 which is its own site (http://www.comics101.com/) now, Jeff Wells Hollywood Elsewhere which is its own site (http://www.hollywoodelsewhere.com) now, and Lynch's inexplicably hilarious Monkey Man webcomics.

When I saw that most of the article writers were also very active members in the forums, I signed up right away to shoot them a few Q's in hopes for some A's. Then I quickly noticed that pretty much everyone else here was awesome too. Except for dmoney.

I think it I read somewhere that Moviepoopshoot was going to become a real site. Ryall and Tipton turned it into my favorite pop culture site and I wandered in here.

I heard aboot Smodcast via MySpace and stumbled upon my new "home" away from home during the download process. Best internet community ever.

I'm a Kevin Smith fan and came to the page to check out his store. I started checking out the articles and just kept the page in my bookmarks and browsed it occassionally. It wasn't until Clerks 2 started to get promoted and they decided to change the page name to QSE that I started looking at the messaging boards.

Plus I tell people I'm a scat-fan and thought movie poop shoot was all about the dookie............
