Does anybody know where to find old Manga/Anime movies on dvd, things like A Wind Named Amnesia, Fist Of The North Star (Original not the sequel or series) Golgo 13 (Original not sequel or series) Ninja Scroll, Akira ect... you get the idea, i know some can be found and quite good ones to but many are poor quality and often dubbed badly, i'm looking for the ones with original Jap audio and with Englind subs, i have downlaoded quite a few but they are a mix of original audio and some with subs and or dubbed but the quality can often be pretty bad.
If anybody knows of any websites where i can get them from i would really gratefull. Thanx.

Out of all of those akira is the only one I own, it does however have both audio versions, however theres the original copy version which only has an aspect ratio of 4:3, whereas the remastered version had a 16:9 ratio, improved voice acting (in the english version at least.) And some improved visual effects.
I wouldn't know about some of the old dvd's but I thought it would be pretty normal to include the original japanese dialogue. In fact some of the more recent stuff (Miyazaki and Satoshi Kon) don't even include an english track.
Can't say anything about ninja scroll, it's cut over here and I can't remember enough of it to know if I could warrant buying a region 1 copy.

Last Xmas I tried finding the original Guyver series on DVD. No luck, had to purchase on VHS.
As for Ninja Scroll - that's available on DVD. I'm sure my brother just purchased it. No idea about the audio options.

I have Fist of the North Star, Street Fighter, S.F. Alpha, S.F. Alpha Generations, and Ninja Scroll on DVD. They all have English, Japanese audio with various subtitles. You should check Amazon.com, they have a good selection of these. I remember buying some of my Anime at a store called Entertainment outlet. They are all good quality. I have Guyver and Berserk series which I downloaded off Torrents. The quality is pretty good. If you want to download the series try Mininova.org or other torrents sites. As an anime fan I think you would enjoy Berserk if you haven't seen it. I liked it more than Guyver.
