So, being that there is only about 2 hours of podcasts available per week on this site; what, if any, other podcasts do you subscribe to?

It may be cliche' but I listen to NPR's This American Life and Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me every week.

I like The Bugle with John Oliver and Andy Zaltzman.

I don't actually have any...but after my exams I will be looking for more. So this thread could be very handy!

I like Fanboy Radio.

My other favorites are: Uhh Yeah Dude, and the WYNC Radiolab podcasts. The rest of the 'casts I listen to are from ESPN, the Guardian, or are related to Lost, indie music, or science fiction porn (i.e. Real Time with Bill Maher).

Not really. I never miss The Daily Show though.

he's the best thing on there since "Slimming Down with Steve"

I like Jason Jones and Rob Riggle too, and I'd definitely tap Samantha Bee.

Aasif Mandvi, not so much. His voice irritates the hell out of me.

I will have to check out the John Oliver podcast.

My favorites:
Savage Lovecast (sex advice)
This American Life (interesting stories of every kind)
On the Page (screenwriting advice)
Sam and Jim go to Hollywood (infrequent, about screenwriters)
Wired.com Alt Text (short humourous geeky musings)
Wired.com Geekdads (connect with your kids on a geeky level)

Two I just downloaded and have high hopes for, but haven't a chance to listen to yet:
The Ricky Gervais podcast (from the guy who did the British "The Office")
KCRW's Left, Right, and Center (political discussions from every side)

This might not be for everyone but a podcast I've enjoyed lately is The Skeptics Guide to the Universe. The main reason I like it is that it has a lot less of the kind of smarter-than-you, anti-religious preaching that seems to be popular in many other things carrying the 'skeptic' label. Instead, it's mostly about science and focuses on claims and ideas that are or are not backed up by scientific evidence. It's one of the four or five podcasts I find myself looking forward to each week.

I usually try to catch:

It's not hosted by the Stop and it's a thoroughly entertaining listen!

Wait, yeah they did. (http://www.quickstopentertainment.com/forums/showthread.php?p=209668#post209668) I thought it was cool at the time because I recognized them from an episode I listened to with The Mythbusters as guest stars.

Right...I can now list my podcasts, as I have accumulated a lot!

I listen to all the quickstop casts, and on top of that;

The Bugle
Popoutsiders
Fanboys
Toby Fosters daily one
Innapropriate Behavious
Misinformation
Nobodies

...and probably some others.

I have tried some others too that have just been guff.

I listen to quite a lot, working in a company where it’s just me & my boss means that when my boss has a day off (once a week) or when in by myself, its perfect podcasting time (better than listening to noisy machines and hammering metal!)

The Bugle
Misinformation
Inappropriate Behaviour
Adam & Joe
Stephen Fry’s Podgrams
TFICast

& All the quickstop casts

Pig fucking son of a bitch if you don’t mind :p

ooooooh that is weird! I thought it was only me and the Americans listening to the show! Imagine if they knew they had two Scottish listeners!! It would blow their tiny little minds!;)

Its a strange show....I find myself wanting to turn it off at points but it would appear I’ve grown quite fond of them  They are back from their long absence now and that’s where I learned of http://eroticfalconry.com/Site/Home.html

Wow, TFICast finally made a list!

I think you bring us up to 6 listeners which is fantastic because now we can say, "You can count our listeners on two hands!" :D

I put 91 podcasts onto my iPod and took of the synch feature with iTunes so I could manually decide what I want to put on or take off. I had the iPod charging and when it finished I checked the podcasts. I have two. The others were removed by iTunes. And I had deleted them from my Macbook to have space. I wouldn't want to sully the ventilation thread considering what's being discussed. This seemed an appropriate place to put this as it concerned all the podcasts here.

Has anyone seen Karl Pilkington reviewing The Invention of Lying? There's some classic Pilkington in it. Ricky showing he's still a pro at awkward looks towards the camera.

I'd love to see it, but should I wait until I've seen the film first? I hate even the most minor spoilers.

They barely talk about the movie.

Karl: Well it does what it says on the tin.

That's about as in depth as it gets with Karl. They go off on multiple tangents. King Kong, Elephant Man, advertisements, Boston is shit and et cetera. Really funny stuff.
