Six Feet Under **SPOILERS**

Ah, I love Six Feet Under. A series which can be simultaneously so dark and funny and thought-provoking has to be loved by everyone, surely?

A simple question to start with: which is your favourite episode? Mine is the one in season 4 when David gets car-jacked. Fucking incredible. Up to that point in the season, I was thinking it's more or less Six Feet Under by numbers. Things were kind of bubbling along as expected, nothing outrageous or unexpected really happening, then BAM. Even within that episode, it starts off as normal, kind of soap opera-ish vibe, but then David has a moment of 'hey, that boy's cute' and things go badly wrong. It turns into a full-on, tense psychological thriller. The bit that really got me was at the end, where the guy had the gun in David's mouth. I was convinced, absolutely convinced that this was the end of David. But no. The writers pulled the rug out from under me again.

Fuck it, I'm off to watch it now.

Anyway. Which is your favourite episode?

Oh, and favourite quote? Mine is "Those fucking cock suckers! Oh, sorry. Those cunts!"

My favorite is the finale. Amazingly shot, and the ending of the series will not likely be topped by many televison show's to come.

Four hours ago, I finished watching Six Feet Under. I've just gone through one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life. The closing episodes were perfect, my eyes were shrouded in tears and I felt all the empathy for the characters that I had spent so long falling in love with. The show is an emotional journey. "Changing your life" is a phrase that's thrown about quite a lot but now that this show is over..... my life is actually changed. Alan Ball has his place saved in heaven.
