I think that D'arcy, from Smashing Pumpkins, is the most beautiful woman in the music scene.

Dude, that was your 666th post and that's how you spend it?? You must really like D'arcy.
I'm sure I'll think of a better one later, but on a scale of pure hotness with nothing whatsoever having to do with musical talent or respect...Britney Spears is get'n-it, get'n-it.

I'll give you a top ten list.
1. Britney Spears, she sucks but, damn.
2. Eliza Dushku, I know she doesn't make music but, double damn.
3. Stevie Nicks, gold...dust...woman. Chic sends chills down my spine.
4. Sheryl Crow, the skirt in the video for Everyday is a Winding Road, the legs, the swing, need I continue?
5. Dusty Springfield, the voice.
6. Janet Jackson, I'd let her beat the [censored] out of me anyday.
7. Mia, I can't even watch her perform.
8. Brittney Murphy, I know she doesn't make music either but she's too cute to leave out and you know it.
9. Chris Isaak, If I was a chic, I'd play wicked games with him and I'm secure enough in my manhood to say it.
10. Avril Lavigne, like Spears, she is terrible but smokin hot.

Too bad her new album is total crap. Liz! Why did you abandon us and go Avril? You were my hero [sniff sniff]
karmattack
07-23-2003, 11:40 AM
Agreed. Well, I don't think it's total crap, but I think she's begun to sell herself to her market. It sounds like she's just talking dirty to do it and keep up pre-teen sales. It's like "Liz, do you seriously spend your whole day playing X-box and blowing your husband? Didn't think so."
I still dig her though!
Zens_7s
07-23-2003, 11:59 AM
Hmmm...I like the whole X-box, blowing angle because at least she is keeping it edgy. H.W.C. is so typically Liz. The album is overproduced. She teamed up with The Matrix, and they obviously took her sound to a new, and different level. Someone could play me this album, and I would never know it was her.
Liz's charm has often been her lack of polish. Classics like [censored] n' Run need the grit. Oversmoothing makes it hard to buy into the nasty things. I would hate to see her move closer to the teen pop with really bad words camp.
Total crap was a exaggeration. It is a kick-ass teen pop album and she is better at being Avril than Avril. I was just being moody.

I don't like tattoo's either. The little guy on "The Love Boat" was o.k., but other than that, I'm not a fan. Although when I win the World Curling Championship, or an Olympic Gold medal in curling (look for me on the podium in Vancouver 2010) I will have a curling rock with flames tattooed somewhere on my body. Of course, due to my crippling fear of needles, I will probably pass out and wake up with a dick tattooed on my face.

Yeah, even my most conservative friends have at least one tattoo. I have none. I do have piercings though. There's something spiritual about both things that I don't think I could describe. Personally, it's the permanence of tats that I don't like. They can look really cool -- I dig sleeves -- but chances are, they won't be that cool for the rest of my life. Piercings heal. Even my wacky cartilage piercings will close. Plugs are another thing I don't really understand. It's like....stretch a hole in your ear to double-0 guage so you can fit a hockey puck into it, and then when you don't want plugs anymore? Um...cut off your earlobes?

my dance instructor has watched that "Dirty" video one to many times...which kinda explains why the class is always watched by a group of 17 year old boys...nice...
as for Tattoos i like...i have one and want more...but i'd have to be 100% certain that i would still like it in 50 years time. women who get them done on their breasts really annoy me...thats a bad look. and people who get stupid things done like their favourite football player...erm hello he just transffered to a rival team that was a bit of a mistake now wasen't it!

My tattoos are based on the concept of "I will never regret this." My first was of Jake & Elwood, just a small one. My favorite movie, and nothing's ever going to make me say I don't like it anymore.
The otherone is almost a motivational tool. I have a strip of film on my leg with empty frames. Every time I complete directiong a movie, I'm going to fill in a frame with a still from the film.

Yes Psycho, she is pretty fine. In the three times I have seen the Pumpkins she always made me want to go back home and play the guitar like a badass.
The last time I saw them was in college (Northern Illinois University) with only 1,200 people. It was the night before Melon Collie came out, and there were no seats in a small ballroom. I ended up directly underneath her. That show still blows me away.
Oddly enough, the first time I saw them was in 1992, opening for Guns and Roses.

No, not you. I was talking about the lovely young girl in RATM's post. It was sort a joke about straight edge people who seem to be "farther out, man" than most drug users or drinkers could ever hope to be. And she has a straight edge razor. Two jokes for the price of one. You have to play the percentages. Fire off as many jokes as you can, knowing that the bulk of them will fail to find their mark. You may recognize this as the Family Guy technique.
I really don't have a problem with straight edge folk, most of them anyway. I can't stand the "holier than thou" stance that some of them take, but that goes for anyone. I prefer to hang in the buffalo stance, myself.

It's says that your friends are probably cool people, and that you have exercised good judgment in selecting them. It also tells me that you have a 42" vertical leap, that your feet are likely webbed, and that you've never been kiled and eaten by a sea lion.
