EVIL DEAD 2: More Laughter than Screams?

Evil Dead 2, a great movie, a excellent film. With it's gross humor and action, its a must-see. Unfortunately, many Evil Dead fans were disappointed that the film didn't exactly stay true to the on the edge of your seat-I think I'm gonna sh*t my pants-scares that were in the first film. Personally, I think Evil Dead 2 worked out great and I didn't really care that it wasn't scary as the previous film was. Anyway, what are your thoughts?

It was good but nothing can beat the original.

I preferred the original too, 2 had too much unecessary laughing and that sampled female scream they kept using cut through me more than anything.

the whole movie is more humorous then scary.....anyone who is scared by it is feeble minded =x but that's just my opinion
