Indeed. It's the second best podcast on the site! :D
Won't get a chance to listen here, but will definitely download when I get home.

Why is there always such a big gap between the time podcasts are uploaded, and the time iTunes downloads them automatically. I don't mean with Snydecast specifically, but I've noticed it with all the podcasts I'm subscribed to. Grrrr.
I'd just download it and play it, but I like to listen to them on my iPod, in my car. The iPod organizes and plays them differently if I don't download them with iTunes.
**Edit: Ahhh....right-click...."Update Podcast."

Your up to 26 reviews on itunes!
An interesting conversation. Thanks!
But........I will never understand people who do not like seafood or are vegetarians.
I recommend Ken pull tentacled creatures out of the ocean, impale them on a spike, cut them into bite size pieces and eat it while it still wriggled. Top it off with a shot of vodka and you have just: "Manned up Flanagan!"
If you can't do that, you are going to be a skull on the side of the road next to a McDonalds after the apocalypse occurs. Something to crush with my deathmocycle kickstand when I stop to piss on McDonalds with Sarah OConnor.
Hollyclowns! Hilarious! Now I know what to call them. Never had a name for them but, there are quite a few over here in Hong Kong. Its now a local fashion....and fucking retarded on both genders. Guy came into one of my regular bars here wearing one of those shit 80's style VonDueche caps and a t-shirt that said "Bathing Ape". Normally, I keep my mouth shut and not cause trouble but, this guy sauntered in and cut in front of me at the bar to order......get this....a diet coke and rum. Oh, boy. If he had turned around and hit on me, I would have understood and gave lenience (never get upset with a compliment) but, to burn my blood even more his canto-pop ring tone goes off and he starts having a conversation. That's it for me- "Hey, ass clown! Stop letting your boyfriend dress you before you go out; he's emasculating you!"
I figure he understood maybe 40 percent of what I said and 100 percent of its intent. He scooted away like a runway model trying to get to the stage. 0 percent male. The bartender rolled his eyes. Hollyclown had left his drink on the bar and didn't pay for it. It being a regular hangout for me, I paid for it and passed it to a girl my friend was chatting up. Even she said: "Who drinks diet coke in a mixed drink?" Apparently, Hollyclowns.

Really an awesome show guys!
Sure, it's a multi tasker, but it's exciting and entertaining.
And if anyone wants to collaborate on a theme song- I could write lyrics if someone else can do the music part.
it started off slow.....a bit too much pause. if I wasn't putting puppets together while listening to this podcast, I'd be switching the channel.
They definitely knaw on each other a bit though (which is fun to hear). Laurel and Hardy.
ooohhhh they tapped the Frugal Gourmet! Hilarious, "I'm a cheapskate and I'm Snooty!" I hated that old fuck. Especially when he had Elmo on his show. What an asshole!
Asian male populations is about 40 percent effeminent. Seriously. I've seen too many guys here with serious sissy issues. Kid you not, triad truck drivers with dragon tattoos and a glowing hello kitty hanging off his mobile phone.
Sea-urchins....eh, not so bad. not great, but there is worse oh yes much worse....try sea cucumber; rubber and snot combined.
someone thank ken and dana for mentioning "today's special" show....never saw it until now......fuckers......now i'm scarred for life.

day boat sea scallop is supposed to be fancy pants. woopidoo!
At least it was fresh-ish. It is collected by hand. boat is only out for the day and someone dives down and gets it. from the east coast up north (like maine and canada). normally scallops are dredge up and the boat can be out there for a couple of weeks.
Club 33 sounds interesting. never heard of it until now. but the only advantage i see is drinking in Disney. Which we all can do with an empty water bottle filled with vodka instead.

Ken P. D. Snyde-Cast 51: Cats Do Dance
Ken & Dana return for another round of something or another, as Dana checks in while on the road with a not terribly good mic, as conversation turns to two of the greatest Vegas shows ever, a meal of sickeningly immense proportions, famous last words, the Henson legacy, and much more...

It's possible his first name is Mitch and he's from Kansas City, Missouri. Some 19 year old troll with no life. It is also possible his tonsils are swollen from too much cock-in-mouth.......http://twitter.com/rwiggum
If that's him; and it probably is, he is without a doubt a virgin (and repulsive to both sexes). I've never seen someone with so many login id's around the net that are for useless crap.
Also, he may possibly be podcasting himself: http://www.lanshow.podomatic.com/ ugh, its not good. babbling geeks with emo tunes...... my brain tuned out in the first 30 seconds. and if I did tune back in; it was because they said something fucking retarded. I tried to listened to a couple of episodes but, kept shutting them down after 5 minutes. Finally, I printed a copy of the page, brought it into the bathroom and placed it in the bowl to shit on.

I would like to point out that some podcasts do have their own pages, the SModcast (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_SModcast_episodes) is clearly one. Scene Unseen Podcast (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scene_Unseen) has an even larger article, with tons of pictures and sections of information. If what they really want is tons of sources, may I suggest that Ken calls in favours from his writer/columnist friends to write articles all about the Snydecast? Just an idea, if you still even want a page that is.

My response to mr wiggum
No, it's claim to fame is that it's contributors include Kevin Smith, Scott Mosier, Dana Snyder, Paul Dini, Christopher Stipp and Peter Sanderson all of whom are notable enough to have their own wikipedia pages. Please stop asking to delete pages that you have a personal vendeta against. This is a young page, it needs time to have its content filled. The whole point of an online dictionary is to be able to cross reference information. This page is relevent to 7 other different wikipedia articles therefore making it of note.

Usually, I don't care what's on wikipedia or whether somebody likes to control the content like it's their own little web-empire.
Wikipedia is not the ultimate arbiter of what's culturally relevant. In fact, it's not even close. But what surprises me about the "argument" for deletion of these pages is that they are basing it on 'lack of sources' in the article and/or a lack of significance.
It almost makes me want to edit the quickstop article just to prove that it is culturally significant. It shouldn't be too hard to find a source that specifically talks about the transformation from parody to actual site (maybe the wayback machine?) . There are news archives stories talking about the site. The site is even used as a source for a couple of academic articles about pop-culture topics (according to google scholar).
Heck, even Ryall's bio at IDW says "Prior to joining IDW, Ryall was responsible for turning filmmaker Kevin Smith's Web site, Movie Poop Shoot.com, into a legitimate pop culture venture. Mr. Ryall served as Editor-in-Chief on that site for forty-four months, and has had his work on the site featured on CNN Headline News, Variety, USA Today, and the Hollywood Reporter, among other venues."
Alas, I'm not much for wikipediaizing but if someobody wants help gathering sources or whatever let me know.

Aaron! Great job defending the QSE realm!
Thanks!
I don't know much about Wikipedia, but can we put in some secondary references to the QSE page that are merchandise based? Branding, I would guess, is less likely to be deleted from Wikipedia because, if is notable. 3 seconds on wikipedia and I scanned so many damn branding references. And Collector items are even more notable. As QSE is parallel to the origin of some unique branding that is a direct cultural reference (like "Nails" smokes, or any Jay and Silent Bob/Chronic and Bluntman material) it is notable.
?
This guy rwiggum needs some quality time with my fist. What a cock-holster!
Just recommended David Eppstein for wiki-deletion as well. How can this geometry (the footstool of math) teacher have the right to try and delete a wiki page that is based popular culture? He's probably been rejected from every popular notion of society. And he has his own wikipage???? Fuck! He probably jerks off to quadratic equations.

I see no justification for a college professor to have a page unless he's won a Nobel Prize or done something equally important. If he likes to "chill" in Hawaiian shirts, I doubt it.
Hell yes, Eppstein's current significance in mathematics is "Wow, you have the same last name as someone from Welcome Back Carter." :( -signed Epppppsteeeinnn's Mother!

I'm not sure if Ken is actually going to read this, but I was just listening back to some older episodes and I got to the 2006 holiday music episode that I hadn't listened to in a while. It may be my favourite one.
Will Dana and yourself ever do another one of these novelty song specials again? Perhaps next December?

Why is there always such a big gap between the time podcasts are uploaded, and the time iTunes downloads them automatically. I don't mean with Snydecast specifically, but I've noticed it with all the podcasts I'm subscribed to. Grrrr.
I'd just download it and play it, but I like to listen to them on my iPod, in my car. The iPod organizes and plays them differently if I don't download them with iTunes.
**Edit: Ahhh....right-click...."Update Podcast."
[hides in shame]
When you register a podcast with Itunes, they give you a URL you go to that tells their servers to check for a new podcast...so if you do that, Itunes theoretically doesn't take long to update...

Now that the podcast aspect seems to be perpetually growing here, I figured i'd poke my head in and see all the goings ons. :)

Hey thanks! I'll have to let Nikki know when she gets her interweb back. Today was really an eye-opener for me... I just started listening to the Cabin-Casts when you guys were in Hotlanta with Dana... before that, all I knew was "two Irish dudes were coming to Atlanta... possibly to be slaves for Dana." XD Now it's like "THAT GUY is a registered member on a Central forum?" Now that's the cool part. \m/
As I mentioned before, FDC is all her's and even mentioning publically that I operate it brings death to me and only me. I can however, say that I coded the initial HTML on the website as well as installing the forums. Otherwise, people have cited me as being the "evil genius" behind the [as] Central websites (except for the one I just mentioned.)
Still sucks that I didn't know THEN, I would've said hello... I was that first goober at the Snydecast panel who asked Plumey where he got his comedy from (there was kind of a story behind that... an elaborate one) I also made that crap logo with the puppets. (sidenote: Dana teased the idea of assisting him with judging the logos if I sent that in... then he told me it sucked. x_x)
But yeah, one novelization of my antics in the world of [adult swim] later... still glad to be here. :)

Great ep. 1:54 is still nothing compared to the Swimcast record of 2:09.
Things that caught my attention during the epeasod:
All that talk about putting ashes into random games reminds me of a joke from one of the John Leguizamo comedy specials: "Take my ashes and put them in an Etch-a-Sketch... that way you can play with me whenever you want!"
Yeah, Dana DOES say "This is the time when WE read the mail." but then he says "And I answer questions from the mail." x_x
As a master of Swimology, and one of the few people who happened upon watching the show that was referred to with Matt Berry, I have to agree with Dana... outstanding pilot, I really hope it gets out there. Also, as I mentioned to Dana... his facial hair in that show is outstanding. :D
Overall, great jorb. Can't wait (or can I?) to see the vid, as well as the crappiest logo on the face of the Earth (http://www.aquateencentral.com/snydecastlogo2008.jpg). :D
