I am proud that we have a newbie that spells "genre" correctly.

As for the question, I like them all.

Ever watch a porn with your girlfriend? Or watch one at a party and Mystery Science Theater the thing? Or how about at film festivals? The MD Film Festival shows a 3D porn every year. Porn isn't just for jollying away. It's a legitimate genre of film.

A legitimate genre with nice hooters, as a matter of fact!

Horror is the best, blood and guts are good.

We used to turn off the volume on porn, set up another video camera and dub our own dialogue and plot. Usually works the best when all parties involved are intoxicated.

MINE! Good Horror+Gore films + Hardcore comedies and Great Police Solving Movies (take the movie "Seven" for example)
Porn also helps!

OH WAIT! That sounds way worse than intended. I meant that we spoke, not acted out, the new dialog and plot. Damn, it's good I neglected to mention this was with my girlfriends. Then things really would have gotten wild.

You brought up ex-vice-president Gore in another thread. Why do you keep mentioning him? Do you like, follow him?

Well everyone must bow down to gore, he invented the internet, remember? Yet his wife doesn't like kids seeing/hearing obscene things, ironic; isn't it??

I like movies that have people in them. Not necessary real life people, maybe CGI, claymation, animatronics or just animated people. I also like it when things happen to those people, but only interesting or cool stuff.

I like story-driven scifi movies where the effects service the story, not the other way around.

I also really like war movies.

Check out Starship Troopers, if you haven't seen it- great writer (Heinlein), great director (Verhoven) and great effects, even if it is cheesy (on purpose) and derivative (also on purpose).

I like pretty much all different types of movies. As long as they are good and don't suck @ss like the Hulk movie.

Omaru

Starship troppers? I preferred the books cause this just felt like an action movie, still enjoyable but I prefer how the books made you feel more compassion for the aliens.
and I wasn't saying I like films with effects, I was just saying I blatantly like most films. Some of my favourites have scored like 20% on rotten tomatoes. ANd some have scored 100% so I'm fairly balanced, either that or I just watch any old crap

I am gonna have to agree with you on Starship Troopers. The book was way better than the movie.

Dude, I think pretty much any book is better than the movie, because a book lays it out for you to interpred with your own detials, while theovie makes them specific, which may be different than what your mind conjured up.

Drama, Sci-Fi, Comedy, Mystery, Psychological thriller...sorry I cannot pick just one...I love all types of movies, and I always will.
