anyone else sensing that Aaron Sanchez will be Iron Chef Mexican by the time the show wraps up? They are competing for Mario's slot and Food Network does seem eager to appeal to folks who like Latin American food.

also it was annoying when they had them make desserts without butter and sugar since I've yet to see an Iron Chef episode that denied butter and sugar to the cooks.

In a real competition, Besh would dominate. but this is all about the Food Network finding a personality that they can brand and profit from. There's probably going to be a "tie breaker" that involves who signs the right contract.

Plus remember how the Food Network brass went nuts when the guy in Next Food Network Star talked about the lack of color on the channel.

seems like Iron Chef Mexico was derailed - especially cause him and Alton didn't come off as buddies.

I'm putting my fat bet on Symon since he'll be replacing Mario and they need someone who is going to look like he's having fun in the kitchen.
