A friend of mine insists that this video (http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid716091984?bctid=751384420) was shot in one continuous take, without cuts.
I'm finding this hard to swallow.
Any thoughts?

I would believe they may have TOUCHED up some of the video (maybe erased the edge of someones elbow at the start of the shoot or something.) But it looks like one take. You put the camera on a crane, and just program it's movements in a computer and it will do that same movement every time.
If you told me this was done without rehearsing in one take, I would say BS, but it isnt that hard to believe.
Isnt this the new Apple song thing?

Looks like I lose another argument.
Ah to be humbled.
It is an awesome video though.

Its just a music video, its quite possible. There's a movie called 'Russian Ark', a film that is one 90 minute long take, done on stedicam. You can only imagine the rehearsals and pre-production planning that went into that one.
