I wasn't a big fan of the movie. I never read the comic, so I don't know if it followed it or if it didn't, and to be honest... I don't care. I believe that the story that went with the movie was too long, and at times boring. I will give the movie some credit though, the visual effects were amazing....
For everyone that has seen the movie:
What did you think of it?

The movie sucked. Damn, I'm beginning to think I might just get tired of talking about it, one way or the other.

The movie was great (this is like the 30th thread about it).

OMG! How many friggin' threads are gonna be started about this movie this week? The movie SUCKED @SS! It took forever before we even got to see the Hulk and then he looked like he belonged in Roger Rabbit. The animation was terrible.

It was like anticipation for the Hulk, like anticipation for the ketchup when it is in the glass bottles.

I was busy absorbing the story. I wasn't sitting around waiting for the Hulk to show. I knew he would.

It wasn't animation, it was CGI.

but I just got done watching The Hulk for the first time. Tell me why this movie was supposed to be bad? I thought the dialogue could have been a lot better, but other than that, I really liked this movie.

There were more shots of Jennifer Connelly's pores than there were appearances by the actual Hulk. They needed a little more Hulkification. If the movies name is Hulk, why was he missing for 7/8ths of the film?

yeah, but it was a good story. Um, I still liked it.

The begining was extrordinarily uneventful, but all's well that ends well. It was a bit unsettling to be expecting something reminiscent of the old TV series or another superhero action romp and get a genuine Science Fiction movie, but it was a solid $7 of entertainment. Still, I wanna see if they can get a villain from the comics into the next one.

I thought The Hulk, was a very nice movie a slightly different approach from Ang Lee.
Eric Bana is one of my favourite actors and never fails to impress from the days of Chopper to Black Hawk Down. . . .

I'll just wait and watch the DVD Tuesday. I was going to see it but everyone I know advised me not to watch. Then again these were the same people who said 28 days later sucked and I loved it.

Yeah, I don't understand that. Everyone I talked to said they didn't like it, but aside from the crappy dialogue, I thought it was pretty good.

Look the Hulk was good bar the actual Hulk and terrible Nick Noltes kinda absorbing man powers. If you were expecting a tv series movie then you you went to the wrong place, which most people did.

I just got done watching Hulk on DVD. What the hell are people complaining about? Too much depth and layered characterization? These are bad things?
And from everything I've heard I thought the Hulk was going to look like he was made out of velveeta cheese or something. He looked pretty good to me. Not quite on the level of Gollum, but definetly better than Spider-Man.
I think Ang Lee was actually able to have his cake and eat it too.
I loved it. Except for the tacked on sequel set-up ending.

I am about halfway through the movie right now and I stopped because I couldn't pay attention. Too tired.
