Why in the hell is it so hard to get a DVD in it's original un-cut version when buying them on line?
Twice now, I have ordered "The Dreamers" in the original NC-17 version. I mean hell, why would you want to buy an edited version of a movie? Anyways, both times the sites I purchased it from advertised it as the NC-17 version. What do I get in the mail both times? The rated "R" version.
Well, now that I have 2 rated "R" versions, I guess I have one more than I need. So, if anyone wants a free copy of the "R" version, just send me your address and I will get it in the mail.

I've never had a problem and I buy a bunch online. Which site are you buying from?

The first time I tried purchasing the movie I used BestBuy.com and the second time it was Overstock.com.

Yea. Both are filled with issues. One of my friends had received the wrong DVD from bestbuy.com three times. They don't sell it in the stores. He eventually gave up. My other friend never even received her DVDs from Overstock.
I recommend buy.com or deepdiscount.com. Never had a problem with either. Buy.com is great if you pre-order something because you get it in the mail the day before it hits stores. Deepdiscount just has great sales events and offer no shipping on a regular basis with their deals.

If nothing else, there's always Amazon.

I just want to say I love the dreamers, because of it's homage to alot of other classic movies, but more than that, I love the girl in the dreamers.

I loved the dreamers too....but for other reasons. Two of them, both of them were her chest. What? Huh? WHo said that...
Anyway, Never had a problem with Amazon. Sometimes Best Buy the store (Bricks and stones) will order it for you.

After a first dire experience with Amazon, every other DVD I have ordered from them has arrived before their estimated arrivals times, although I've never shopped around for a better offer - is Amazon the cheapest?

I have heard from others that deepdiscount.com is the cheapest and reliable. But I haven't used it so can't vouch for it.

I normally do my online DVD purchases at BestBuy.com because they normally have what I want in stock, and can have some realy good deals. I keep an inventory of all of my DVDs at DVDAficionado.com and have purchased DVDs from some of the websites that they use to gather info and this time, overstock.com was the cheapest price for the DVD that their site came up with. I guess I will eventually notify them that they screwed up.
