Saw it yesterday, it was definitely the most disturbing movie I have ever seen. I give it my stamp of approval.

Awesome movie, got the 2-Disc DVD the day I saw it, disturbing, but I love it. Especially Spacey's performance. But I'd have to say the most disturbing movie I've ever seen is Requiem For A Dream. Especially that guy's drug-mangled arm....... ewwwwwwwwww...........

Is Requiem any good?

Requiem For A Dream is an incredible, artful, inspired movie. Basically Darren Aronofski (sp?) set out to make a movie to suck the Hollywood glamour out of drug use/abuse. The movie did it's job well because I was so disturbed that I'll never watch it again. Take that how you want -- the movie's good enough to affect me that much, but I wouldn't watch it again? If you can stomach it, you should check it out.
About Se7en, did you catch the subliminal flash at the very end of Gwyneth Paltrow's face? It's like Fincher's [Tyler Durden and penis] flashes in Fight Club. It happens right before he "becomes vengence."

Quick flashes tend to make a grusesome scene seem more gruseome, rather than have the camera on it long enough for you to notice its laugahable. Anyway se7en is a great film.

It Tis a great movie. With it's plot twists and gruesome images. In fact, it has inspired many things inside me.

When it came out I saw it as a first date with this girl I'd just met. That was a very odd and short relationship. Hellacool movie, I'll never forget it or let my collection be without it.

Psycho, have you watched Requiem yet? I bought it yesterday for $9 at Best Buy. I said I'd never watch it again, but I want to own it. Does this help explain the effect of the movie more?

Are all DVD's that cheap at Best Buy? Even with the exchange rate, it's cheaper than anything in Canada. I'm gonna have to check it out next time I'm in the States (this friday). Looks like I'm gonna have to bring my credit card.

Not ALL DVD's, but you can always find something interesting for that cheap. I've found a ton of DVD's I like for 14.99, and plenty for less. But there is a good selection around the 20 mark.

We have a great Used DVD store here, you may want to try to find one. Try used CD stores, because they often have DVD's also. Usually I get stuff for $10 or under, and the quality it perfect.
Sorry, I should have make this reply to Bryce above.

Hey, that's a good idea. The places I know of are mainly known as used book stores, but they carry used CD's, video games and probably DVD's. I'm a sucker for Blockbuster previously viewed movies though.

Apology accepted, but please don't let it happen again.
That's good advice. I want to enlarge my DVD collection, but my being a cheapskate doesn't help. And the Blockbuster used DVD section is great.

Half.com is not a bad bet either. Things are shipped media mail, so the charge is pretty cheap and you can return something for full refund (including shipping) if the item is not represented properly.

I will check that out, you're awsome. Could you find me a better job too?

Sure, we are hiring a lifeguard for the 12am to 2am hot tub shift. You need to bring a large cooler of Pina Coladas and one of those big hooks to pull people out in case of emergency.
brycejmcewen

My big hook is in the shop for repairs. It should have been back last week, but the shop keeps dicking me around, something about a washer not coming in. It sounds like bullshit to me. I'm sure it's already done and all of the repair men are using it and having a good time. So would it be alright if I brought my small hook? It is only a hot tub. I should have my large hook in a few days.
Also, instead of Pina Coladas would it be allright if I brought some of those Baccardi Breezer (Orange Smoothie) Coolers? They taste just like Creamcicles, and I promise to drink alot of them.

Jeez, any other demands on the free job? Better pay? SpongeBob arm floaties? Funny hat wednesdays?
I mention these things because I have them here in my office. Today I am sporting a salsa-loaded sombrero.

Is salsa-loaded sombrero a euphemism? I don't understand. Oh well, time to take the Browns to the Superbowl.

I wouldn't mind working for the government, but I already have a job where I do nothing. I get so bored. I saw an add for a Private Investigator on the Job Bank, that might be interesting.

Seems everyone is on fire today. That's at least the third time I've had to stifle a laugh, lest the Powers That Be find out where I sit, or that I'm having fun.
