Blood Diamond

I just finished watching this movie. It was very good. The movie was sad, funny, touching, and just about anything that you could want from a film. Leo is far and away one of the best actors to ever grace the silver screen.

This is a must see.

I liken Leo to a modern day Jack Nickleson. I think his career will soar. I am looking forward to seeing the movie. I loved the character play they had in The Departed.

I have never seen Aviator. My hubby says it looks like it is a romantic drama and I tried to explain that it was the story of Howard Hughes but he said "who is Howard Hughes and I gave up". I guess this is one I should try to get and watch alone.

Romantic? Nah, not really.

It's just biographical. Basically tells you what a crazy fuck Howard Hughes was. It was good, DiCaprio was on top of his game.

I have never seen that movie either. I read the book in junior high but never seen the movie. Hmmm maybe seeing Leo portraying a retard will help me to not lust after him as much. :D

And, yes 'Blood Diamond' was a sad tale, but brilliant at the same time.

Okay, so I just got done watching it and omg. What a brilliant movie. I think I always knew he was going to give him the diamond. But one has to ask do you think had he not been dying that he would have given the diamond up? I really loved the story line. I am not big on subtitles but I didn't even care that they were in this movie. Fantastic well worth seeing on DVD but I wish I would have went to the theater. Thanks Bams for the heads up on the movie. Perfect selection.:)
