You are trapped on a desert island for god knows how long. You only have enough battery power on your iPod to listen to one last song which could possibly be the last piece of music you may ever hear. Which song do you play?

Which song do you play? I imagine I'd be pretty stressed so I'd listen to some stress reduction sounds. Specifically, the sound of waves washing over a beach. ;)

Or maybe Amazing Grace played on the bagpipes.

Something long, like november rain, freebird or all three movement of moonlight sonata.

Hmmm, that's a tough one. I'd go for either Cabron by RHCP or I Need Somebody by The Stooges...

Dude, desert island. You have all the sounds of waves washing over a beach that you could ever want. Don't waste your battery on fake wave sounds.

I would chose "No Ordinary Love" by Sade.

Thus the winky smiley face thing.

It was either the fake waves or Bobby McFerrin's Don't worry be happy. Could you imagine how making that your last song would speed up the process of going completely insane?

Nirvana - Lithium

This would help me get ready for the insanity that would probably come a little later. Also its not going to make me feel miserable and down.

Track two on Miles Davis' In a Silent Way. It's one of my favorite songs that promotes introspection which is something I'd like when I'm stranded by myself.

And it's 19 minutes long.

Space Oddity by David Bowie. It would kind of describe my situation, plus be all kinds of awesome.

I was reading this and I realized you never told us yours. So what will it be???

I've been having a hard time deciding. Part of me wants it to be "Symphathy for the Devil" or "Midnight Toker" as those are two of my favorite songs of all time. The other part of me thinks it would be something to pump me up and be appriopriate with "Just One of those days" and part of me thinks it should be something mellow as that may be my last moment to enjoy some music by myself in that case I'd go with something Gershwin.

I had the same problem. So I have settled on Maneater, just in case someone else shows up. ;)

Good choice btw.

"Midnight Toker"
Took me a second. Do you mean Steve Miller's "The Joker"?

Yea. It's one of those songs that has been mislabeled in my computer for so long. I keep forgetting its real name.

According to my iTunes library, the last track on Unrest's "Isabel Bishop" EP is 789 hours long. I'm going to go with that one.

If I really wanted to go out with a bang, I'd use Wham's Wake Me Up Before You Go Go. If that was the last thing I heard, I'd go crazy.
