Well, this is exactly what happened when the Pixies got back together. They got together for one show at Coachella, spent all that time practicing, decided that if they were going to practice that much they might as well tour, and so they did.

Hopefully the same will happen here. Or you could spend the $80 for a one day pass or $250 for the weekend ticket plus airfare and go see them.
