He made a lot of people smile. That's an incredible legacy.

I don't think people realize how important comedians are, but what are we if we can't find some way to laugh about life and all the stuff we go through?

I for one really get upset when someone like him dies. I still can't believe after all these years that Walter Mathau, John Candy and Chris Farley are dead. Maybe it's because I value being able to laugh so much that it hits me like it does. I just know I need guys like him to make it through all the shit.

For what it's worth, I'm really glad we could spend all that time together, him on television and all the fans watching, smiling and laughing.

That sucks. I occasionally watched Raymond, he was the best part of it. :(
