Sorry, it's 3:35am and I can't sleep for some reason.

I think the last time someone used the search tool they got their ass reemed for a week.

Of course, they did end up bring a pretty lame thread back.

DarthMaulRat
11-29-2006, 02:34 PM
Well, the last thread was only for Myspace, this is for three social network sites, which I am ashamed to admit I have dabbled in all of these.

Not that I really use them, except Facebook on occasion. I've updated Myspace about twice... once for profile information, another for two pictures. For Xanga, I posted a whopping two times, four years apart. I mostly use those sites to leave comments for others.

Anyways, my sites are:

www.xanga.com/darthkegx

www.myspace.com/darthkegX

as for Facebook, my name is Jeff Keglovitz, and last time I searched, I'm the only one of those in existence.

But if you link to any of these, go to http://www.myspace.com/thephilclaronishow

Its for my part-time comedy troupe. I know I showed you guys some videos of this stuff before that you pretty much hated, but we've uploaded some of our better stuff since then, amounting to over 10,000 views on youtube, so please, check it out. Or don't. We won't resort to whoring ourselves out... yet.

I'm different, I guess--I have a Live Journal, and I love it... it's more for writing, than say, for posting pictures, personal information, and annoying songs that load while I'm at work.

Anyway, I hate MySpace, but I wish more people used LJ--it's quite nice.

Mine is http://www.livejournal.com/users/mslgtwam/

It's in my profile, but we all know nobody visits those.

I have considered getting a MySpace because so many of you have them, but just not yet. I checked out some of your blogs too, and you guys are interesting! Again, too bad we don't use the same service.

I had an LJ once... I don't like them, they're too limited as to what you can do with them
However, if you would like to know what I got up to for a year of my life I think you can still read it here (www.livejournal.com/users/greenkoala)

And if you REALLY have no life you can come to my other pages

Not so much a fan of the Myspace anymore. I like having a little bit of anonymity, and I like remaining hidden.

In fact, I seem to be the only one in this town without a Myspace, which makes no sense. I understand that everyone is trying to fuck everyone else in this town, so I understand wanting to be in contact with virtually everyone you've yet to fuck. But Nashville is this place where everyone who was affraid to go to New York or L.A. came to, and they aren't going to go back to their hometowns until they can show everyone what a big success they are.

All it is now is, "Hey Y'all I'm in Nashville, and all I've done is make a Myspace page. But look at all these bands I totally know and hang out with. I'm always totally on the guest list. That means I'm totally close to being totally huge."

I just wanted to let some of youze know I added you on Myspace, which I created out of a variety of motives this weekend. If you see someone by my name and suspect it is someone other than me, you should stop doing drugs immediately, wait until you come down from your trip, and then proceed to either accept or deny my invitation.

If you don't get an 'added' message from me, it's because I don't know you, and you never have contributed anything meaningful to my life. You might as well not exist. No, really, I'd be happy to add you, but I don't just add strangers. I've never met a stranger really, but I'd rather you look at my page first and see if you'd like to add me. Har she blows: www.myspace.com/mslgtwam. Jump on the bandwagon, before this opportunity passes you by!!

Cheers all,
Your droog

We're only backyard wrestling until w can gt sponsorship and get into a building. We're hoping to soon, because being out of comission all winter gives you some serious ring rust in the spring (Ring rust is what happens when you're out of the ring so long that you get a little rusty on your moves and selling others moves). And we're not like the people you see in backyard wrestling DVDs, we're not crazy like them. We're more or less like TNA, but with a backyard setting

Also, my podunk connection in nowhere, Slovakia finally is semi-stable. I went and finally added a bunch of yas Shooters as I said I would three weeks ago. If you see something from "matthew" or myspace.com/mslgtwam, it's me. No, I don't know some of you that well, but what can I do? I'm interested in adding you anyway. Cheers

I noticed that. I'm like, why can't I read the whole answer, maybe that's the one I should pick. Though I just read the quizz and didn't submit my answers, I already knew I'd probably fail. I'm silly like that. Always failing quizzes.

Does this happen for everyone of your friends? Weird. I dunno...

I don't know if Twitter is good for conversations. People tend to get pissed off with folks talking back and forth on it because it clogs up their stream. I know I unfollowed a person or two on it for that very reason.
I wouldn't worry about it.

After I started listening to and following people from Misinformation, Weekend Justice, and Cabin Fever, I notice that Twitter keeps recommending people that are mentioned on those podcasts. In your newsfeed, if you hover over a post, you can click the x to remove it. When you do this, it gives you the option of hiding all of their posts from your newsfeed.

Also, if the post is about an application, you have to option to remove posts that anyone posts about that application from your newsfeed.

I hope this helps.
