I don't know why it is, but things don't seem to be picking up here. Where is everyone?

Why don't we use this thread as a forum for everyone to say what is going on in your lives, because I'm interested. I'm not exactly bored, but I miss how active this place is [or was]. Did everyone go and find better more advanced message boards, or is everyone out saving the world? What the heck is going on with you--inquiring minds want to know...details.

Love,
Droog

I've been here and posting. Started new threads and everything. I think we need a JK style thread resurrection party.

The most activity I saw was around before I moved to where I live now, when we thought we were going to merge with VA.

But that's just been since I was around.

That was an odd time, wasn't it? Like Armageddon, we didn't know what was going to happen next.

It was kind of a time of panic, but it was also extremely awesome!

The reason there is such little activity on this board is because you skippies are the most boring sonsabishes I have ever come across... (that might be hyperbole, check with my lawyers).

Go check out the View Askew board to see how people really post on a lively forum. Start topics! Say something interesting. Stop being such sensitive sluts.

Oh, and worship me.

Thank you.

Does that get messy, when people come upon you?

Love,
DroogI've been busy as hell at work, and I've got backwoods country-ass dial-up at home. That's about my excuse. :(

I've been playing a lot of Gears of War recently (had a 48 hour free Xbox Live trial I used last weekend) and waiting for Clerks 2 on DVD (bought it today). Not much else. I have a shitload of tests coming up this week, so I probably won't be on much.:(

Ja, things have been pretty slow around here. A lot of regulars haven't posted in forever: JJ, Zens, Karma, Smurfy, psycho, TLS, Psyche and such favorites as Denyse, Jason Brown, Ozchick, and Tom Harrington have been posting at a minimum.

Bad, poopshooters, bad.

*swings at group with rolled up newspaper*

I am kinda suprised that the influx of J&SB fans has been kept to a minimum, I saw J&SB Strike Back on FX the other night.

Uh, something kinda funny happened to me the other night so I will share. I was going home, slightly drunk (read: flipping wasted), I insert my key in the dead bolt and 'snap' it breaks right off. This is before I have unlocked it and I have no other way of getting in (GF was out of town). My front door has a huge window on the top half and I don't want to pay for breaking it, so I decide to break through the locks.

It is kinda scary if you have never seen a door broken down but those things (even with deadbolts) can be broken into pretty easy. Well maybe not that easy, I didn't want to break the window, this means you have to throw your body at the corner of the door multiple times and kinda 'lean' after you hit it. When I did this (did I mention I had been drinking?) it didn't hurt, well today it feels like I hit a deer on a motorcycle (that's another story).

Ugh, on a side note I reccomend that everyone go and put a metal plate under their current deadbolt so either you will never try breaking your door down or your locked door will be as secure as you think it is.

Holy shit man.. It's a wonder that you didn't break anything.. Besides the door I mean.. This makes one a little paranoid.. I need to get more door locks...

I started a new job about 5 weeks ago which has pretty much consumed me. Also, the office is all open plan (ie I don't have my own office) so I can't really read & post on the boards during the day even if I did have time. I do check the new posts at night though, but I'm usually to buggered to bother posting unless something pretty much jumps out and slaps me in the face (no offence to anyone).

Other than that nothing much happening with me. Saw Chris Isaak in concert Monday night and it was farking awesome. It was their last show of their world tour and he and the band went off like frogs in socks. Played for almost 2.5hrs straight.

I saw Chris Issak here about two months ago. I want to have babies with him. BADLY. OzChick...see if you can catch his Holiday Special. They played it on our PBS a lot last December and it's awesome.

As for me, I have been really busy. Work hasn't been exactly easy lately and we have had some shakeups (including a huge round of layoffs that left my signicant other out of a job). It's just stressful.

Also it was the holidays and I partied my ever living balls-off. I talked to a couple of you over the weekend. I needed that vacation badly.

I love Chris Isaak too, but I've never even heard he was coming close to Virginia. He's got one of those voices that makes me listen, whatever he's singing.

Guys and gals having troubles/overtime/what-have-you at work, my heart goes out to ya's. Best wishes and a quick return. I started this thread because we really miss you.

What the heck, I fear RB is actually right. Have we gone boring here? You can't say you're here all the time but it's not as active.

As they say, if you're bored, then you're boring.

Of course that could go for me too, but I was really trying to say what someone else said, that a lot of folks are just plain missing.

I have been trying to post more, but every time I start posting and begin to enjoy myself...somebody has to go and act like an asshat...

That, and the fact that I'm seriously nesting and working full time, limit my posts.

Will keep an eye out for it but I doubt we'll get it. He even stuck around after the show to sign autographs and if it wasn't for my friend wanting to leave I seriously would have stalked him all night.

Did Denyse just say she was sitting around the house having fun knitting asshats?

That's just wierd. I think this calls for an intervention.

Karma, FanGirl...it's time to get out the apple-y-shit, the song "Never Tear Us Apart", a coathanger in case the keys get lost, at superman robe, couch yoga, a ficus, a cigar, dolphins, a porn shower, cameras, the Star Wars Christmas Special, and airline tickets two days old. We shall meet in Malibu and get this whole damn thing sorted out quick.

Well, if he is a dude you would almost be willing to violate your no-baby rule with, then I would think he would be a dude you would ditch your friend over. :D
