My wife, and I enjoy, a killer CD we found years ago. It's a "Christmas in New Orleans" thing with all the old Jazz classics singing. We usually listen to Jazz or Blues rendentions of Christmas songs this time of year. Just a good change of pace from the usual stuff we listen to.

I concur. . .really nice list.

Personal favorite for this time of year, echoing By-Tor's sentiment, is "Christmas Cocktails" Part One from Ultra-Lounge. It's a really cool, retro disc that is VASTLY different from most of your traditional, holiday fare and anything else you may or may not listen to during the year.

I gotta admit, I'm intrigued by Sufjan Steven's new Christmas disc, as well, but. . .honestly. . .haven't heard it yet.

Oh yeah, and on a personal note, I always kind of fancied Elvis's Christmas disc probably because, as I told Ryall way back when, my mother had it on constant rotation during the holiday season. "I'll ba-have a-hava-Blue (ooooh oooh aaahh oohhh) Christmas. . .":D
