It's shaping up to be a great week for me gig-wise. I got to see The Boss and The Seeger Session Band on Saturday (which was one of the best live shows I've ever seen), I've got Tool tomorrow night, and then Grand Master Flash on Friday (who I've seen before, and can't wait to see again). Woo-Hoo! I've already peed myself multiple times from Tool-related excitment.
Anyone get to see any good shows recently? Or perhaps you have one coming up? Do tell...

Ok Go is getting me a press pass for their show here on Dec. 3rd. I'm really pumped about that. Lots of big names are going to be there. Really good music plus being able to shoot. Good opportunity to start getting into the "Band Photography" market. I'm trying to expand from Fashion.

I saw Billy Joel a few weeks ago and I'm going to see Chris Isaak next week. Can't wait.

I just came back from one of the greatest events of my life.
TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!
They were better than I could ever have hoped they would be....way better!
They played a shit-load from Aenima (opening with Stinkfist...I nearly exploded) & 10,000 Days. Maynard made a few comments about he and Danny having Irish surnames, which did illicit the typical cheers, and he mentioned they were coming back during the summer.
I'll be keeping Ticketmaster on speed-dial.
Tool and The Boss, it has been a great few days. :D

Nothing beats a bit of techno at Easter, as the old saying goes...sorta, so me and my buddies are off to see Richie Hawtin play a set in town. I can't wait! I've never seen the guy live and he's supposed to be incredible (of course I was told this by a bunch of X-heads, and they seem REALLY easy to please). 5 hours of giving it socks on the dancefloor is just what the doctor ordered today, cos I've got way too much nervous energy built up.

Scott Matthews is playing in Dublin tonight, and a group of us are gonna check him out. I am trés excited, this guy's album has not left my cd player since I bought it over a month ago.

Speaking of gigs of the galore variety. These boys are gonna drive me into an early grave. Played a show in San Antonio(3 hours south) last nite. Playing tonite in Denton(2 hours north) and got a show here in town tomorrow nite. Speaking of the Denton show...freetoaster, buy ya a beer, tonite? Andy's Bar.

Ah. Makes sense now... well not really but at least now I know why it doesn't make sense.
And I'll follow it up with an apologetic:
