The whole long bleeps ending with just 'yeah' = set-up a mile off!

More so the Tom Cruise going censored when he can't get ridiculed anymore and then the censor bar disappearing again when he can are clear jokes.

It's more a question, to me, whether these were in the plot from the off or added as the controversy from the first part of the ep grew.

I think comedy central saw the finished product - not far off what aired I'd imagine - and still shat out of showing it all or repeating it.

Just my humble opinion though.

Matt and Trey said the bleeps were added by CC, not the visual censorship. That may have been a joke.

I'd actually prefer if it was all done by the guys on purpose as a point of how far censorship will go, but going on their statement, it's just a shitty back down by CC.

Just curious what others thought of the mid season finale? It kinda took me aback. I really liked it.

I had a similar reaction. I was really surprised at the semi-serious turn it took near the end and how straight they played the drama for the most part ("C'mon, breeches, we settin' you free").
